Unless it’s free, no one wants it.
Given the Obamacare plans coverage , unless it’s free, it’s also not worth it
Here’s jim moran cheerleading for obamacare back when.
Q: Isnt it true that this expensive law is going to bankrupt the country and explode the deficit?
A: The opposite is true. According to the latest estimates from the nonpartisan Congressional Budget Office, the health care law reduces the deficit by $109 billion over the next 10 years and over $1 trillion over the following decade.

Q: I am a young adult. Is it true that, because of the new limits on age-based rating in the health care law, young adults like me will suffer rate shock and never be able to afford the premiums in the new Marketplaces?
A: That is not true. Large majorities of young adults will not pay more for insurance because they will qualify for generous premium tax credits that will make insurance affordable. Currently, about 29 percent of people in their 20s are uninsured (almost double the rate of the overall population) and the health care law will actually greatly improve their access to affordable coverage. Eighty-eight percent of 18-to-20-year-olds projected to buy a plan in the Marketplaces are expected to have incomes less than 300% of the poverty level, so they also will be eligible for substantial tax credits to help pay premiums in the Marketplaces or for Medicaid. In addition, those under 30 may purchase a low cost catastrophic plan.

Q: I have heard that, since it was enacted in 2010, the health care law has caused health care costs and premiums to rise rapidly. Is that true?
A: No, that is not true. The opposite is true. Since the enactment of the health care law, the growth in overall health care spending and Medicare spending has decreased to record lows. In fact, U.S. health care spending grew at historic lows for a third consecutive year in 2011.

What the heck - do some Dims start to develop a conscience after they leave politics? Would be nice if they took one into the job.
Technically, I believe it is a bill as the House never voted in approval for it. Mdm Pelosi ‘deemed’ it to be passed by the House and the Senate then voted on it. Ergo, it’s still a bill.
Absolutely right. The state of health care (before the advent of any part of Omamanationcare) was vastly superior to the monstrosity being foisted upon us; therefore, the Bamster's demand for a superior alternative to it is utterly specious.
No, there are a number of pre obamacare problems to be be addressed and resolved.
The first is the lawyer debacle. The constant threat of law suits must be severely reduced. The concept of Christlike medical perfection must be eliminated.
The use of emergency rooms for normal care must be dealt with. The concept of pre existing conditions must be resolved.
There are several Republican bills in the works that will be debated and a consensus developed. It will have providers and insurers on board. It will be implemented in stages.
The cards are close to the vest to prevent leftwing artillery from shelling them into oblivion now
To insist on returning to the status quo ante is imprudent and totally without reason nor possibility
Mo problem. obama’s got the pen and he’s got our money. He will try to force it to happen. Just change the law on his own so the money comes right out of millenials’ paychecks. And if that’s not enough, just take it out of ours. You say it’s a tax? The GOP will complain but do nothing and Roberts will surely back him on his right to make this happen.
Oops!
“No” problem.
The GOP will complain but do nothing and Roberts will surely back him on his right to make this happen.

GOP figures they will take control and then be able to push their little pet projects through and capitalize on what the LIBS are cramming down our throats.
Not to worry, if ‘Rs’ were to take over all these D ‘toys’ would be rescinded and watch Reid and BO pass some kind of binding legislature that Executive Orders and such are forbidden.
This lazy bunch of ‘Rs’ sit on their collective duffs and do nothing but blow smoke up their constituents arse and let the D’s plow them into the ground, while they stand around and do absolutely nothing....
These “problems” may exist — but none of them are any business of Federal government.
He passed the woman-beating mantle to his son....
That is exactly right since the deductibles are so high. The lowest deductible I have seen is $5,000, so you get nothing from your insurance until you spend that much - AND, if these policies are like “normal” policies, that $5,000 is for one year and a new deductible starts the next year. I can't swear the deductible starting new every year is true, and I need to check that, but any insurance policy I have had in my life, a new deductible started every year.
I have read of people's deductible being $5,000, $7,000, 10,000 and 12,000. That is not insurance, that is a “game” of pretending to have insurance.
I fully agree there are a number of pre-Obamacare problems to be addressed. I just meant another huge, government-controlled system is not the proper alternative to Obamanationcare, nor is tinkering with monster. The Dems can only think in those terms.
Thank you, thank you. I’m here all week. Mostly because I can’t afford to go anywhere else!
