Your comment made me smile, as it reminded me that my parents often had Mogen David with Thanksgiving when I was a kid in the 1950s. The ‘rents were not wine drinkers — actually, I knew of no kid whose parents were — but, for some reason, they had wine with Thanksgiving supper.
