"I'm afraid that the millennials....are less likely to sign up. I think they feel more independent, I think they feel a little more invulnerable than prior generations," Rep. Jim Moran (D-VA) told WAMU. "But I don't think we're going to get enough young people signing up to make this bill work as it was intended to financially."

Not getting enough young people to sign up to "make this bill work as it was intended to financially". Well, then, scrap it.

What could go wrong?
Healthy, jobless young people who have no money aren't flocking to pay exorbitant premiums for healthcare insurance they don't need?
Never figured Jim Moron was smart enough to figure that one out.

Moran is such a repugnant person and this is a great capstone to a dismal career. Of course, they all vote for this totalitarian monstrosity and then are against it when it doesn’t matter. Its why the country is swirling down the toilet. But Moran will be dead and rotting in Hell when the country completely collapses.

Obamacrap is designed to fail. A young person doesn't need to buy insurance because Obamacrap will force an insurance company to sell him a policy if or when he gets sick.

And there is no way the IRS fines are going into effect while Bammy is president. He'll waive his Executive Order wand and make it go away.

The economy is so bad that even those with jobs can’t afford it because the cost of everything has gone though the roof plus a lot of us have had to take a significant pay cut just to keep our jobs. He got us both ways. We earn way less than we used to in reality.

Notice he said they wouldn’t make the bill work as it was intended. He doesn’t mean that they won’t try to make it work some other way.

That's OK Jim. We'll just go to single-payer a lot sooner than you had planned.

It's not like us peasants have anything to say about it.

You are on exactly the right track. No known provision in the “Affordable Care Act” shuts the program down if financial assumptions are not met. The taxpayers will be forced to pay and/or borrow to subsidize yet another failed federal program. Those who believe that was not the scheme all along, can, er...,”keep their plans if they want to.”

The democrats are always squealing about how UE payments helps the economy. I wonder if they’ll say the same thing about tax refunds that won’t be refunded.
