Authorities have called off the search for a Colorado woman who disappeared shortly after returning from a two-year trek around the world, but her husband believes there is still work left to be done.
Leanne Bearden, 33, vanished on January 17 after she left a relative’s home in Garden Ridge, Texas, to go for a walk.

Without more details, it’s impossible to tell.
This is one case where having drones would have been quite helpful in the search I’d guess.

Garden Ridge is a 2 1/2 hour drive on I35 to Nuevo Laredo, Mexico.

I had a cousin who disappeared, it’s really an awful thing to never know what happened to someone.
A few years ago I read about an airline stewardess who went missing somewhere (I’m thinking Kansas City, St. Louis, somewhere like that) while on a stopover. Like these other folks she went out for a walk from her hotel and disappeared.
I don’t now if she was ever located. I don’t know why that story stuck in my head, but maybe because of my cousin these stories all resonate with me.

Well, no wonder they can't find her since she disappeared 300 miles away in Garden Ridge outside San Antonio.
According to WIKI the first one appears to be back in 1999.
It does say they won one in 2014, I presume that was last night.

If you click on the link in the article, you can read their blog, that they wrote TOGETHER while they traveled TOGETHER for two years.
Police are saying they don’t think anything criminal happened. I think, after 2 years bumming around the world with my husband, I’d want a MAJOR BREAK from him. I would, however, let him know where I was.
She and her husband are marketing majors and recent college grads.
They just returned from a fantasy 2 year trip around the world to now the face the reality of having to look for a job and perhaps pay for the trip they just took.
She goes on a walk without her cellphone — what woman goes anywhere without her cellphone.

I confess, I did not watch, I overheard one of my colleagues talking about it.
I didn’t watch either, but still the fact they received one last night is quite telling about the industry and the quality of music that is out today.
The fact that classic rock stations draw the largest amount of listeners in every city should be a clue to these dolts....
