In the wake of a series of scandals that have plagued the Obama Administration, Texas Senator Ted Cruz released a statement asking if President Obama will announce meaningful action on the IRS, NSA, economy, Benghazi and ObamaCare during his State of the Union Address next week in our nations capital.
Shortly after the 2012 election cycle, news was released about a scandal regarding the IRSs increased scrutiny of conservative non-profit organizations like Catherine Engelbrechts King Street Patriots and True the Vote organizations.
Throughout the course of 2013, Members of Congress like Rep. Mike Kelly (R-PA) attempted to investigate the IRS and the Obama administration to determine the extent and complicity of this scandal. Over the next several days leading up to the presidential address, Sen. Cruz will focus on this issue (and four others) and why it is important that the President provide answers to the American people, according to Sen. Cruz statement, released Wednesday, January 22, in Washington, D.C.
Later that same day, Sen. Cruz released an additional statement expanding on the first issue regarding the IRS scandal. In this statement, Sen. Cruz quoted a letter he wrote to U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder in which he stated, Two hundred fifty-three days have passed since both you and President Obama professed outrage at the IRSs wrongful conduct. Sen. Cruz continued:
To date, no one has been indicted. And it has been reported that the FBI plans not to file any criminal charges. This is a sad state of affairs. The widespread perception of partisan bias, of manifest conflict of interest, besmirches the reputation of the Department of Justice. And it undermines confidence in rule of law.

Past time!
You just know the left is desperately looking for some marginally criminal act they can pin on Ted Cruz and charge him with crimes against humanity.
GOPe
Will it happen under current circumstances? Probably not.
Sadly, his (and our) demands might get a strongly worded letter..
Directed at us.
To STFU.
But it was important to arrest a critic of Obama like Dinesh D’Souza.
His crime: emulating Rat election tactics.
One does what one can. when one can. And Ted has proven that he’s willing.
I wish us all the best.
Pissing in the wind, the damage is almost complete.

When someone speaks up and announces the truth in the middle of the deception it almost seems like a shock.
Let us pray for those who are willing to cut the deception with the sword of truth.
The lyin king who has hired all the relatives of the MSM to his administration will never allow this to be known.
Pravda on the Potomac is what we have.
Johnny boy is no less a treasonous pig than barry and eric.
Sorry mods, some things just need to be said. Clear this if you must.
So which wimp is the GOPe sending out for the response to the SOTU?
What is sad is the could actually be an oppty to make it a viral event and lower 0bummer’s ratings and start winning/rallying the country for 2014 and 2016...but...the are the stupid party and would rather build the kingdoms making deals on the minority side.
Ted is the most positive guy we got.
Its one of the things I like about him. He continues to fight with a smile on his face.
We have a dollar, we base the budget on a dollar and not three dollars.
What Democrats need to watch out for as they grow need and dependence is that they don't create nation wide massive numbers of violent crowds demanding free stuff that can't be paid for. Eventually the freebie train will hit a wall and the nation will have to be IMO dealing with lots of entitlement minded violent crowds that won't have the skill sets to get jobs. At that point the poor will get a whole lot poorer.
Do you think trash like McConnell or Boehner - “leaders” - would write something like this? No chance. They have to go.
Go Ted!
