New study suggests global warming decreases storm activity and extreme weather

A paper published January 21st in Quaternary Science Reviews reconstructs storm activity in Iceland over the past 1,200 years and finds storminess and extreme weather variability was far more common during the Little Ice Age in comparison to the Medieval Warm Period and the 20th century. The paper adds to many other peer-reviewed publications finding global warming decreases storm activity, the opposite of claims by climate alarmists....

Imagine, a silent preacher! But it’s all too believable that a man who refuses to accept evidence would get mad at someone who offers evidence, even if that someone is his friend.

I watched at 10 in the AM as a kid with a fever. It freaked me out as a kid, but I get it as an adult. If I taught polisci that movie would be a must see. Teaches you a lot about government and human nature.

What is with these preachers..A few years ago I told a great friend Obama was a liar and Commie Muslim..To this day the use to be friend still believes Obama is the real second coming..This friend is a minister..

I've noticed that preachers, though they be ever so humble, seem to suffer more than most people from god-complex when it comes to dissent against their opinions. I can understand why they would on devotional matters, but being called to service doesn't confer infallibly to their secular opinions.
