WASHINGTON (MCT) About 3 million people have now enrolled in health insurance plans sold through marketplaces created by President Barack Obama's health care law, the administration announced Friday.
The milestone indicates nearly a million additional people have signed up since the end of December. It also suggests that the marketplaces are continuing to recover from a disastrous launch on Oct. 1.

From ObamaCare? You are two of how many? The numbers just don’t add up. Especially when the govt admits the back end billing wasn’t complete.
I get to call Obamacare soon to find out about my application
My insurance agent (an old timer) put in the paperwork in December
He tells me half of his customers got a notice and half have not.
Im one of the lucky ones who gets to call to a real live person and ask them what happened with my application.
Yep its all fixed.
Ours was through the WA State exchange which really didn’t have any problems handling initial payments. What will be interesting is how the subsequent payments will be handled. I believe (could be wrong) most of these will be through Automated Clearing House (ACH) transactions via Federal Reserve and ultimately, IRS. This will largely be out of the state’s control. In some cases people are making payments directly to their insurance companies through ordinary channels and these won’t be affected.
Incidentally, my wife and I were expecting all kinds of invasive, probing Obamacare type questions on our initial appointments. I had even coached my wife on what to answer to some of them. But there were no extra questions or anything out of the ordinary. Really surprised me. Possibly this is because we were able to stay with the same providers.
Sounds your state exchange wasn’t developed by Michelle’s college girl friend from Princeton. Federal exchange doesn’t even have the billing part done.
You lie
And how many lost their insurance?
Enjoy your chains.
