1) Boy I am really glad I got out.

2) That’s what happens when the libs control everything and with a super majority. If you don’t want the US to look like Virginia and California and New York it is time to come together as conservatives and stand our ground and march forward. We can’t afford to bicker amongst ourselves at this moment. We MUST take our country back

Someday we will ban politicians. With extreme prejudice.

They’re in session the year around and have 365 days to think up stuff like this to make into laws.

Don’t want something, just ban it... crazy.

Tax the bags. Sell the bags. If someone is recycle-crazy, good for them. But don’t ban one of the best inventions shoppers have ever known. Really want a scheme? Reward stores that make cardboard boxes available at the register (most get many products in these boxes, free, anyhow).

I'm going to buy a lifetime supply, they are pretty cheap by the 1,000.

Take our own to the market and make them fill them.

We line our trash cans with them and put used cat liter in them and THEN SEND THEM TO THE DUMP!!!!

Oh no! I wish that was all they were up to. They feel compelled to delve into every aspect of our lives.

They need to get rid of the plastic bags so that there is room for all the plastic gloves.

I go to aldis and carry a denim bag with me. Be creative...make your own...even if it looks like cr**...no one cares.

I have a canvas bag from Barnes and Noble...makes me look like I'm smart. Better than those Gold stars on my forehead.

It says customers would be charged for the green bags, but nothing stop them from bringing in their own plastic bags.

Those bags add up. I would reuse them till theybreak.

I anticipated this and have been hoarding plastic bags for months.

Politicians in Sacramento are proof that Liberalism is a mental disorder. When not destroying the state of CA, they’re servicing each other, wanna bet?

We are the Occupied Territories here. Gives me a chance to chortle as I bring my plastic bags, purchased at Amazon for $15, to the store. I sometimes tease about selling them to shoppers out in the parking lot. Of course, there are Free Zones - one about 3 miles from here - where they give you plastic bags! It’s very confusing, EXTREMELY STUPID.

But don’t ban one of the best inventions shoppers have ever known.

In areas where the bags are already banned, they charge $.10 or $.25 for a paper bag. That charge is sure to rise, and before you can turn around, they'll be charging a dollar or more for something that was once free.

I have a cloth bag with a big "Haliburton" logo on it that I got at a trade show during the Bush years.

I like to use that that one just to irritate the neo-progs.

At what point do we just start ignoring all these stupid laws? They can’t put us all in jail.

My solution (I’m in CA and work in a city with a bag ban—SF—and live in a county with a bag ban—Alameda): I now do nearly 100% of my non-grocery shopping via Amazon prime, which delivers nearly anything in 2 days. I end up with a lot of cardboard boxes to break down. I get groceries delivered right to my door with Safeway.com. I have a big family and don’t want to mess around with cloth re-usable bags, pay for paper bags, etc.

All the bag bans do is turn people even more to online ordering.
