Should have stolen Bieber’s and saved him a lot of trouble.
Well there were other less serious crimes, like attempted murder.
When you look beyond the headline there was MUCH more going on than car theft.
Funny how the fact that he also did a drive by shooting is missing from the headline.
Yes. There is a post elsewhere about the storage unit they found the car in. There were several other stolen items, the car, auto weapons, etc. He also was involved in a drive by.
Nice kid.
Even it was “just” car theft, a Lamborghini can cost half a million dollars.
And while I would fight for the right of someone to buy a half million dollar car, it is my opinion that it is asinine to do so. I would not respect someone who did it.
What a damn waste.
I really can’t believe that any theft should result in a life sentence -— did his “drive by shooting” end in a death?
The article says the car was $200K.
Still, I believe in CA (stands for Crazy America) I do not believe it is a felony to steal a car. I think it has been reduced to a class “A” misdemeanor.
Nope. Article says attempted murder.
Were there other crimes in the perp’s past? That’s another question. Might have been a 3-strikes thang. Let the liberals worry about him now.
Is he a”Belieber”????????????????????
Which of itself still wouldn’t get a life prison term, nor would stealing that car. Redneck’s stumpwater sense says a 3-strikes thang, and this paper is likely juxtaposing the penalty to the theft for sensation’s sake by the usual knee jerk crowd. At least I’d want to see that ruled out before raising eyebrows TOO high here, and if it really is something out of proportion, never fear, our loyal liberals will make sure we know it!
Years ago I worked for the preeminent Aftermarket electronic entertainment and communication company on the west coast
I was lucky enough to drive most of the one we worked on The countach was a spiritual experiences And the Renault R 5 turbo was a blast
“this paper is likely juxtaposing the penalty to the theft for sensations sake by the usual knee jerk crowd”
Heaven forefend! Our media would never engage in sensationalism for the sake of selling some advertisement!
Okay, but what sentence did the teen who stole Guy Lamberghino’s Fiero get?
I suppose if I had a $billion I’d look at it differently.
BTW I’ve seen Fieri’s food shows. He seems like a likable down to earth guy.
“BTW Ive seen Fieris food shows. He seems like a likable down to earth guy.”
I have never seen the show, but have seen him a time or two in person. He came off as a little bit of a jerk, a little full of himself.
Could have caught him at a bad time or maybe the constant hounding that celebs receive made him edgy, but he does nothing to act low key. Overall, didn’t seem bad, but I don’t think I’d send him a Christmas card.
A Lambo??? On his show he always drives a convertible Camaro. I feel as though I can’t trust reality TV any longer. It’s a betrayal, I tell you. A betrayal! </sarc>
