Nicole Oulson told a national television audience today that she wants Curtis Reeves, the man accused of killing her husband in a Wesley Chapel movie theater, to spend the rest of his life in prison.
He brought an unfair life sentence to me to have to raise my daughter alone, to have to live without the love of my life, for my daughter to grow up without her daddy by her side for graduation and marriage, Oulson said on ABCs Good Morning America. It was so unnecessary, it was for no reason. So I want him behind bars and to be punished for his senseless act.
“I dont have a husband. I have a wife, who has to be in communication with the counter-terrorism fusion cell at the State Police 24/7..... She carries a 10mm glock. In the car a FN five-seven and a PS90. No one is going to make her do anything.”
Well... we know who the man of the house is... don’t we.
“Guys like him are why gun rights are always in danger.”
Yes, but more to the point why no one should be allowed to be in “law enforcement” their entire life. From what I have seen, “lifer LEOs” end up being whackos for the most part. You simply can’t deal with the $hit hole of life and not become deranged by the environment. I have seen it firsthand. Retired LEO’s see everything through the prism of their prior work environment without exception. They see everyone, even their “friends” as lawbreakers or criminals. and some of them, like this guy, still think they can act as though they are still cops. If he had been active duty, he would probably already have a pass from his local DA. I am just sorry that execution isn’t on his menu.
Well aren’t you clever. Beats having to think for a change every time.
When the movie and previews haven’t started, hubby has texted our children. But he could be in the middle of responding when the previews start. A reasonable person would be fine with him finishing.
Life in prison? No. Capital punishment.
There IS more to the story.
He was texting home because his toddler was sick
and he was trying to determine whether they needed to skip the movie and go home.
I think it is made up, is what I was implying.
Do you have children? Did they EVER talk that way? Or refer to themselves in the third-person (”Lexy happy too”)
“I don’t go to movie theaters because I can’t stand people texting, the floors are sticky, and it seems like a general waste of money......”
I don’t go to movie theaters because they are nothing more than cable TV with a larger screen. Nothing but crap that you have to pay exorbitant prices to watch and in so doing, you support all that liberal trash in Hollywood. Not me.
In the original police report the ex-cop maintained that the victim struck him. The ex-cop is 71 years old and the victim is younger, bigger and stronger. The law states that you can use deadly force if you are in fear of your life or great bodily harm.
Good point.
The deceased would not have missed any of the show if he had been considerate enough to go text in the Lobby and stop irritating other patrons.
It’s FL. The national media has been shown to have an overwhelming influence on the judiciary so the initial comment has some merit.
But the Westshore pizza criticism was out of line. Westshore pizza is great, only Nikos in Oldsmar is better although it costs $26 for a large supreme.
This thread is going to suck, it is already sucking due to emotional responses based on little to no facts and basic bias and prejudices.
IMO, there are just too many unknowns right now for anyone to form any solid position.
Was the shooter a jerk? Probably. There is a history of that.
Was the victim a jerk? Probably. Throwing popcorn at someone who has already asked you once to stop texting is evidence of someone who is lacking in courtesy.
Did the victim deserve one to the chest? Don’t believe that being a jerk is a death sentence...poorly handled by both parties.
Florida retiree geezers are the most dangerous menace and criminal class America has. They vote heavily democrat, and do so in the Northeast AND in Florida as they register and vote in both states. There is no effort to stop them.
Their first attack was to give us Obama twice.
Now they have resorted to directly shooting at us.
LOL....whatever noob. Pathetic.
That comment is out of line. Personal attacks against the OP are not permitted on FR. Primarily because it’s too easy to do and anyone can do it. And also because it contributes NOTHING to the discussion. If you can’t argue the premise and can’t figure out what the difference is, then don’t comment.
A husband and father are dead at the hands of a control freak and you blame the victim and his wife.....really....because the husband threw popcorn.....this guy will never draw another free breath.....but he will continue to live; unlike his victim who he sentenced to death!!!
“CCW means you are the politest person there, avoiding confrontations over trivial provocations”
Funny how that works, isn’t it? Gun-grabbers think people who carry guns must swagger around like TV western villains, but it’s just the opposite.
Mr. K will tell you all what to think about this.
TWO HOTHEADS go into a movie theater.
One has a near psychotic history of anger at people texting in the movies. (conjecture: he actually started going to more movies so he could spout off because he was an ex-cop who missed being about to shout at people)
Hubby texting is another hothead who cannot control his anger- when told to stop texting he throws popcorn instead of politely apologizing if he upset the other person.
If he had said “OH, Sorry” and put away his phone, or gone to the lobby, this would have been done with.
If he knew hothead ex-cop had a gun, I am sure he would have been much more polite (or at least not thrown popcorn at him)
Wifey is now on TV because the libtards have found a new sympathetic face they can parade around.
She is emblazoning her story with “me baby be happy at so-nice daddy” talk, and enjoying her 15 minutes of fame so far.
No one in the theater is coming forward to say what they saw— so that is a puzzling aspect.
None of the parties involved here is totally innocent.

OK, now go back to what you were doing.
Correction:
A SICK 22 month old baby.
Friends said Chad Oulson was checking on his 22-month-daughter, who was ill and with a babysitter.
