Obama Celebrates 41 Years of Abortion: Roe an “Opportunity to Fulfill Dreams”
LifeNews ^ | January 22, 2014 | Steven Ertelt

President Barack Obama issued a statement today celebrating the 41-year-old Roe v. Wade decision that allowed for virtually unlimited abortions. in a written statement, the president said the Roe abortion anniversary is an “opportunity to fulfill dreams.”

The decision, handed down on January 22, 1973, overturned pro-life laws offering protection for unborn children in most states across the country, and made abortions legal and virtually unlimited. Almost 57 million unborn children have been killed in abortions since.

The statement follows:

Today, as we reflect on the 41st anniversary of the Supreme Court decision in Roe v. Wade, we recommit ourselves to the decision’s guiding principle: that every woman should be able to make her own choices about her body and her health. We reaffirm our steadfast commitment to protecting a woman’s access to safe, affordable health care and her constitutional right to privacy, including the right to reproductive freedom. And we resolve to reduce the number of unintended pregnancies, support maternal and child health, and continue to build safe and healthy communities for all our children. Because this is a country where everyone deserves the same freedom and opportunities to fulfill their dreams.

The statement is similar to his 2011 one, which celebrated abortion while trying to stake out a middle position.

For most Americans, the day the Supreme Court handed down its decision was a day to mourn — a day to mourn the loss of tens of millions of unborn children — sons and daughters, brothers and sisters lost to a world that values choice over compassion. It was a day to mourn the damage abortion does to women — the medical problems, the mental health issues, the damaging of relationships with friends and family, and the destruction of relationships with God.

It was a day to mourn the culture of death abortion has brought to our nation and our world. A culture that believes death is a solution for those who are considered too old or too ill. A culture that believes human life is a commodity to be created and manipulated.

Polling data shows Americans are pro-life and few agree with Obama’s unlimited abortion position.

As easy for the left as it was for Nazi Germany murdering so many Jews, the infirmed and political dissidents.

” ... every woman should be able to make her own choices about her body and her health.”

No argument from me about this, but what about the unborn baby’s “body and health”?

” ... this is a country where everyone deserves the same freedom and opportunities to fulfill their dreams.”

But, apparently, “everyone” doesn’t include unborn babies.

You’ve seen a dark part of America that’s probably never been documented.

Sad to say that odumbo’s mother missed her opportunity, we’d all be much better off. There is one case of abortion I would have approved of.

We reaffirm our steadfast commitment to protecting a woman’s right to destroy/kill/violate those who cause her inconvenience access to safe, affordable health care and her constitutional right to privacy, including the right to reproductive freedom evade the responsibility of promiscuous sex. And we resolve to reduce the number of unintended pregnancies, support maternal and child health through the sacrifice of innocents, and continue to build a diabolical system of murder and selfishness safe and healthy communities for all our children. Because this is a country where privileged classes may murder and denigrate those whom they oppose with impunity, as I hope to do soon with conservatives everyone deserves the same freedom and opportunities to fulfill their dreams.

I guess after something has been seen, it can’t be unseen. I understand the “vibe” thing. I don’t see how anyone can work in that environment. I’m a retired electrician and I was working in the cadaver room at the university. The cadavers are grisly, but obviously their potential for life had expired, in most cases naturally. Newborns should be the most beloved, endearing, closest to God, joy of life. Look for Satan in the eyes of the abortion doctor.http://amightywind.com/abortionf/abortion03.jpg
I promise, no more pictures after this

Did he mention the nightmares belonging to women who weep for their aborted children?

Is he planning to erect a golden statue with Molech embracing Gloria Steinem?

There are 1793 abortion camps in the US. 381 are the death cammps. This nation is in bed with Hitler, Stalin and Mao. The leftists and Darwinists can preach how they are for the children all they want but we know the truth. They built the Satanic death mills. A nation that has fallen from the grace of GOD with this abonimation.

But . . . but come ON — I am a woman and I DESERVE to be freeeeeeee! I’ve got “things to do” now — like screw more people incessantly and bring even MORE babies into the womb to be destroyed. We women do so much good in the world, now, don’t you know? Why, without these kids to hold me down, I’ve accomplished SO much ..like, well, uh ...hmmmmm, can’t think of it now, but I’ll get back to you on that.

Says the American abortion minded woman.

And me? I’m still waiting to see what the ultimate result of all of this is. What has been accomplished through any of this? Are women better off? Seems to be we’re not, really. We have joblessness, a failing economy, a dis-unified nation, unfettered immigration of migrants to do the work we can’t seem to do ourselves, the breakup of loving families — we’re an aging society with so much need and not enough people working now to prop us up ....what has happened? I’m thinking abortion had a LOT to do with all of it. If not a direct result in any one person’s life, but the result of a lessening of morals, of family attachments, of strength in numbers, of economic security. Abortion is a great evil, and it reverberates into all of society.

I just ask ...what is the END result for women since Roe Vs. Wade? Not sure I’ll ever get an honest answer.
