Top television and radio host Glenn Beck said in an interview with Megyn Kelly on Fox News that he regrets some of his time at the cable network, when he hosted his own show, and admitted that he ratcheted rhetoric that helped drive a political wedge in America.
"I remember [my time on Fox] as an awful lot of fun and that I made an awful lot of mistakes," Mr. Beck said on Fox News on Tuesday night. "I think I played a role, unfortunately, in helping tear the country apart."
He also said if he could hit the rewind button, that he'd focus more on uniting, not dividing.
"I wish I could go back and be more uniting in my language," he said, Politico reported. "I didn't realize how really fragile the people were...
Mr. Beck's show ran on Fox News between 2009 and 2011...

With all due respect to you, I never see fans of Rush, Hannity, Levin, etc. get so wrought up emotionally over criticism. Beck fans often do, though.
I never said I dislike Beck. I actually don’t. I listed to his show from time to time. Point is, I have no personal knowledge of whether what he says is true or not. I don’t “doubt” it; I never gave it enough thought to doubt it, and have no evidence that would lead me to, and the disclaimer wasn’t intended to convey that I did, just lack of knowledge. Get over it. I’m done with this conversation.

My hope has gotten a lot stronger when the folks who did the March for Life yesterday, a lot whom are young people restored my confidence.
oh and today he brings out Scarboro sound bites to back him up... Loser. and the two sidekicks are setting on each of his shoulders parroting everything. I guess I’ll listed to Public Broadcasting until he officially jumps the shark and my local replaces him.

I am always curious...just WHERE is Alex Jones wrong? You don’t have to like his delivery but where exactly is he off base?

As far as a "9/11" truther, Jones claims that the Islamic terrorists were used as muscle or by proxy for nefarious globalist interests. I agree with him. Come on, seeing what he NOW see and the fact that we are now siding with and arming AQ, ya still believing the 9.11 narrative? For real?
I think Jones is pretty close to the mark. I guess Matt Drudge is insane too as he links to his sites, probably, 15 times a week.

Jones is soooo over the top.... you obviously don’t do anything like your own research or you only use like minded sources. Jones is pushing HIS water filter to get of FLOURINE and his coffee because HE drinks it... the man is in fact a loon.

How to deconstruct this?

Now, if you want to claim that these segments ignore a wider context, that Glenn’s words are being taken in the wrong way, bear in mind these were cut by his own website.
A) Glenn stated that he would stand with GLAAD. That’s just a fact, and regardless of what specific message he was trying to send by that, he still stated that he stood with a group that has maligned and destroyed Christians, has supported the most vile homosexuals out there like Dan Savage. I’m pretty sure the president disapproves of child rape, but I’d never say “I stand with President Obama”, because whether we agree on some issue is irrelevant, I would never state I stood with an evil man or organization. Glenn has in the past rejected the old saying “the enemy of my enemy is my friend”, but now embraces it with GLAAD.
“No official condemnation of this by the government”, sorry to inform you, but not every government around the world acts like Obama and comments on local issues with moronic statements like “the police acted stupidly” or “Trayvon could have been my son”. If you like that style, there’s not much I can say. It’s not the style of the Russian government.
The idea that Russia is somehow to blame because they have fostered a climate in which this can be said is textbook thought police mentality, banning certain ideas because they might promote a ‘climate of hatred’. This actor’s words are his own. Shifting responsibility to the country at large without warrant is a liberal tactic.
It gets ridiculous when you then state your concern that this comes from... *dread* Russia/USSR! If you had read the post, you’d see clearly how the homosexual agenda is MARXIST in origin. GLAAD is a Marxist group. Obama is a Marxist president. The Russian government is for the most part, not Marxist. Communists have a large representation in government, but they are not the majority, nor are they ever likely to be. Thanks to organizations like GLAAD (and Glenn Beck legitimizing them), we’re actually closer to Marxism than the Russians are at this point in time.
B) Your response here is incoherent. My point was clearly that this was a non-story that Glenn blew up into a big issue for no other reason than to forward the victimhood narrative that GLAAD and others seek to promote. GLAAD itself is irrelevant to this point. At issue is the fact that an actor who is widely considered a bit of a kook said something, and Glenn for no apparent reason jumped on it. I’m sure you can find similar statements from Nigerian actors or Serbian pop stars, and even America’s actors have said outrageous things. Why does Glenn not jump on all controversial statements made by figures who are so globally insignificant? Because he is singling out Russia for criticism in the wake of its sensible laws against homosexual propaganda.
C)This had zero to do with GLAAD. That’s yesterday’s news. This was Glenn going off of an interview conducted by George Stephanopoulos with Vladimir Putin. Glenn uses the typical “hate” slurs. “If you hate people because they’re gay” when he knows the issue has nothing to do with that whatsoever. He plays into the leftist lexicon.
And just to make sure this is clear, here he is ON Vladimir Putin.
“He is putting in new laws that are being strengthened. So the direction is going the wrong way. And Russia is fascist.”
So putting in place homosexual propaganda laws to protect minors, many of whom have been molested by homosexual predators, is the ‘wrong direction’ according to Glenn?
Then by necessity, the opposite direction would be ‘right’ way. And who does Glenn think is going in the ‘right’ way?
“Talk about the direction of law. The direction of the law in the United States is the opposite”
As you see, this goes beyond just an actor’s words. He is decrying the whole of Russia and with it, conservatives who also oppose the normalization of degenerate sexual practices. We’re going the ‘wrong way’ according to Beck.
So your hysteria is unfounded. My accusations are made on very solid grounds, that Glenn Beck, purposefully ignoring history even as he claims historical investigation as his niche, has ‘evolved’ like Obama. He’s abandoned conservatives in favor of more trendy groups like GLAAD, all the while no doubt getting the raucous applause of Will Cain and Cupp. It’s a joke, and he deserves to be called on it.
It’s ironic as well. Glenn told us not to ignore Marco Rubio’s disaster shamnesty push, declared that despite Marco being good on other issues, he was “dead” to him... but Glenn just did EXACTLY the same thing here, betrayed conservatism’s principles and insulted conservatives in the process.
He’s now getting praise by the Morning Schmo for caving to the queer lobby. How grand!

Some FReeper named a person that was rich and associated with his Church that was investing in his empire but I never book marked it. It seemed plausible and right now it is the most logical explanation to me for how he is acting. If I can find it, I will ping you to the thread.
