More likely I'll be gathering wild cotton bolls and spinning thread for a hand loom then beating my homemade clothes on a rock in the creek to clean them by the end of 2014.

Beg to differ. Our technological advances are not nearly enough to make up for even a fraction of the decaying world and social mess we are trapped in. We need a thousand times more technological advances before that happens.
