I don't understand why when we were told to be fruitful and multiply the Catholic religion prohibits it.
No disrespect for or to Catholics, I just don't get it.

Fits in real well with the continued attacks on the Catholic Church.

“The 33-year-old woman, a nun with the order of the Little Disciples of Jesus, stunned her mother superior and local church chiefs after giving birth last week to a baby boy which she has called Francis, in honour of the current Pope.”
Mother Superior jumped the gun

Most babies kick the hell out of you...and they rock and roll and sleeping is difficult sometimes..
But it's all worth it and apparently she thinks so, too.
There is a phone call mentioned...and the nun was absolutely "mean".

He who blanks nuns will later join the church.

On one hand she broke her vow of celibacy, on the other, she did not use birth control. Seems like she’s batting .500. Cut this nun some slack.
Uh oh, where’s that heat coming from.

Can he account for his whereabouts last April?

The whole idea of nuns and priests being celibate is nonsense to me.
Humans are humans and according to the churches, God invented sex - for every living organism - not just humans.
It's not up to any ecumenical organization to try to undo that.

I am a bit confused. The article says she became a nun just last September. It also says that her “dalliance” occurred in March or April of last year in El Salvador while renewing a passport.
SO! Presumably she was NOT a nun at the time of this conception, correct? If so, then she didn’t break any vows at all that I can see? Perhaps I have missed something here?
To: Dallas59
Maybe they'll rethink those nun swimsuits now.

How nice of her to name the baby after the Pope. If she’s enough of a Catholic to name her baby after the Pope, why didn’t she obey her vows?

Hey, there's that whole thing in the Bible about the "virgin birth".
Who says that can only happen every 2,000 years or so?
