A Metro passenger used his cell phone's video camera to capture a confrontation between a woman and two LA County sheriff's deputies on a bus in Bellflower.
My thoughts exactly. Some Freepers have the maturity level of a fifth grader.
It’s always noon somewhere...
How to Cop Proof Your Cell Phone
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vVCROjpgCB0
Nearly everybody has a phone with audio and visual recording. They can’t stop all the recordings. They need uploading in real time so the evidence can not be erased.
Yes. We learned that ugly truth - along with the ugly reality that we are guilty until we prove our innocence in court.
Even when charges are thrown out of court (as was my SIL's bogus charge) we learned that the charge will remain on her record, and she can expunge it after a year and five months after paying a fee and going to court to remove it.
The world has always been totally corrupt. This romantic notion of the past is pure fantasy and shows a basic ignorance of history.
Pigs have always had issues with corruption and abuse. It only seems more common thanks to cameras, 24 hour news, and the fact that we are all digitally connected. The old media no longer has control over what gets out and what stories are passed along. Now we have a chance at accountability where before things were swept under the rug.
Take Chicago as an example. The place has been a corrupt cesspool since the 1890’s where the Mayor was gunned down on his doorstep right before the Worlds Fair. H.H. Holmes was able to operate a murder hotel with nobody the wiser. Read “The Great Gatsby” and you will find a time full of disfunction, drug use, excess, and immorality. People simply didnt discuss such things and people preferred to be blissful and ignorant.
For those still not convinced, go read about the Metro Goldwin Hollywood rape case and ask yourself if that could even begin to happen today.
Wow. That took some guts by somebody. Bet he got a horses head delivered to his bed.
LOL
YOOS MEAN...
Let sleeping dogs lie..
That’s a good video on how cops can loot your cell phone. It is also a good idea to get auto cloud backups going, so they can’t destroy or alter the files.
> what is special needs about the woman who got punched?...She needed another Big Mac.<
Nothing. Everyone knows its ok to punch a fat chick. /s
ALOT more these days than say, 15 yrs ago. I was just saying this on another thread. There weren't always knuckle draggers coming out of the woodwork on so many threads back in the day on FR.
Clever
They won’t expunge your arrest record, no matter what they say you can do. You can get the order to expunge, but the cops don’t care if they break the law in retaining the information. There is no such thing as “expunge.”
They are creating a society of law-breakers, and pretty soon people are not going to see the difference between resisting arrest and simply shooting the bastards.
Being a politician in a former Soviet country is one of the most dangerous jobs in the world.
And he is yelling : stop resisting
Which by the way makes the Gestapo Agents “THREAT of ARREST”
FELONY EXTORTION in EVERY STATE.
We learned that cops have authority to "create a situation to effect an arrest" - meaning that according to the "laws" written mostly after 9-11, that cops are trained to incite, intimidate, threaten and create any situation they deem necessary when they decide they want to arrest someone. Anyone. For any reason.A bit of grist for the wheels of justice, may they grind exceedingly fine.
Did you really got on the internet and expect mature, civil discussion? This aint your grand-pappy’s Freerepublic!
Bill Burr said it best. 13% of people on the internet are cool. The rest are @ssholes.
