A Metro passenger used his cell phone's video camera to capture a confrontation between a woman and two LA County sheriff's deputies on a bus in Bellflower.
Well, we do have a few idiots who put all police officers in the same pot with the worst of the worst. This is a terrible slander because we still have many good officers who risk life and limb for their jobs of public safety.
But, police corruption by some is going third world like the some of our government agency employees. They have no respect for our constitutional rights, the rule of law and human dignity and human life. They need to be prosecuted when they break the law and fired when they behave unprofessionally. Unions are taking them on the third world track.
What the hell is wrong with cops nowadays?
I agree with this. Although perhaps not absolutely everyone is involved, there are certainly vastly increasing levels of corruption, in forms that are not always acknowledged as such.
Not sure why a badgemonkey would be so all fired worried about stealing a cellphone. Its quite obvious that they can
commit ACTUAL MURDER on camera and not go to prison....a little thing like rearranging someones dental work is no big deal in comparison.
This conduct is encouraged and approved by politicians and bureaucratic hacks as a method of keeping the sheeple afraid and toeing the line. The people in charge sure as hell aren’t going to stop it because it serves their purpose. This ends ONLY when badgemonkeys start getting
popped at random. As long as they and the DA’s, judges and politicians who hold their puppet strings don’t fear for their personal well being this evil will continue.
Definitely food for thought. My counter is that the good PDs I mentioned don’t tolerate thugcops. They can’t do much about other departments. Exceptions: One of the PDs I mentioned let it be known that the thugcops from a neighboring town were not welcome in their jurisdiction. Also, the Texas Rangers seem to enjoy arresting corrupt cops, judges, mayors, etc. so I don’t think your comparison is always valid. Now, in some PDs, it certainly is.
Oh no, what happened??
Oh so only slim, beautiful women should get punched by out of control cops, then we would have no reason to fault the victim. There’s a jerk here and it isn’t only the cop.
I have to agree. The silence of the “good cops” is deafening. And disgusting.
“And yes, their excuse is that they felt ‘threatened’ because my kids walked away from a closed and locked door after refusing them entry. We learned that cops have authority to “create a situation to effect an arrest” - meaning that according to the “laws” written mostly after 9-11, that cops are trained to incite, intimidate, threaten and create any situation they deem necessary when they decide they want to arrest someone. Anyone. For any reason.”
Well, that’s news to me. Certainly explains a lot.
I don’t doubt that there are good and decent LEOs and Departments out there. But as a society grows more wicked, and as it moves away from our foundational principles and adopts central authority, those still clinging to what is right, will be swallowed up and taken over/replaced by those supporting tyranny.
Evil triumphs when good men do nothing, and I daresay tyranny flourishes in the silence of the same.
What remains of decent law enforcement will be swallowed up and corrupted if no stand against what is now institutionalized is going on.
It was news to me as well, and when I heard the attorney state it and after I looked into it, it does explain a lot of the kind of brutality and abuse we now see as becoming everyday procedure.
As to our own case, I’ll let everyone know the details after it shakes out in court. I will likely learn even more about how thug cop brutality without warrants or probable cause is explained to juries.
Ew — TMI. but thanks for effort.
Well God bless you my FRiend
