A Metro passenger used his cell phone's video camera to capture a confrontation between a woman and two LA County sheriff's deputies on a bus in Bellflower.
For the record, I don’t think you ever beat your wife. I was just needling you, sorry.
I don’t think the FBI will do anything about Fullerton. My understanding is the guy who died wasn’t black, and Holder won’t do anything about non-black crime victims.
Actually, another FReeper (I can’t find the exchange of posts, it was too long ago, and I’ve forgotten who, so I can’t now properly credit him) suggested writing my phrase characterizing our time as The Era of BAd STewARDS, but I thought the slightly more subtle use of bold improved his idea.
I don't punch women or retards, but then I'm not a faggot.
Just a foul mouth newbie, I see.
The war vet really described the national situation with cops perfectly, and from the experience and training of an actual soldier.
The cop was revealed as a criminal threat to the public, who needs to be sentenced to jail for assault and trying to confiscate the phone as an officer of the law.
and more’s the shame
Subtle better...
I hope you saw where I apologized about your wife, who is likely a saint....
More information on the subject... I didn’t realize this was really an old article.

It was not a 70’s Photoshop job-it was posed, on a set with models, like a lot of posters were then-one of the “cops” was also a model on several other posters in the store-all either mocking authority or softcore porn, as many of the most popular posters were-one showed a mostly-nude couple posed in a different sexual position for each sign of the zodiac, some of which were obviously meant to be funny-it was trendy for young, single women to tape or staple that one to the ceiling above the bed, illuminated by a black light...
Hey, I understand totally how being spit upon would make you see red. Throwing a punch -- which I'm pretty sure is all LowOil said he'd do, as a response is pretty tempting. But killing? You have to be flat crazy to kill somebody when you don't have to.
In any case, I'll bet the last two squirrelly kids or bent middle-age crisis dudes who went temporarily nuts and tried to outrun the cops and ended up getting shot dead for it, would a lot rather have had the cops spitting at them than shooting lead at them. And so would their family and loved ones.
As pessimistic as I am, that little revelation by our attorney and some research to confirm that is in fact the truth and reality we all now live under - surprised me.
The legal language is vague enough to be completely subjective. It is however, upheld in court that a person with a badge, when they decide they are going to arrest someone, even if they do not have any cause or warrant - are authorized to "create a situation to effect an arrest". They will goad you to say something, threaten you to react or say something that will give them cause to arrest.
In our case, their justification to kick in the door and beat the crap out of two unarmed young women, was that they walked away from the door and the cops decided that was 'menacing'. As told on the stand, the cop said they feared they were "going for a weapon" and when asked if anyone said they were going for a weapon, the cop said "No" but that they had to 'assume' they were, in order to 'secure the scene and affect the arrest'.
Then of course followed the charges of resisting and assault.
In a society gone so wicked where every institution is corrupted - the wheel of justice will be ground fine when Christ returns to square accounts. Until then, we will suffer the tyranny of men because society accepted that instead of being governed by God.
Just for my two cents, as a young fresh grad, my first job as suzy social worker was at MHMR. All of my clients were mentally retarded adults, and some of the most decent human beings I’ve known. There is a special place in hell for those who abuse them, I think-they are human beings who have a disability, nothing more or less...
Audio file of the 911 call before "punch"
QUOTE: She's trying to pick a fight with anybody, she almost hit an old man," the caller said. "She was talking about how she got out of prison and 'I'll beat up all you guys.'"... END QUOTE
Other information not mentioned previously in thread (at least as far as I know). The man filming (Mr. Green) was also homeless. The punched lady (not by fist, but via elbow arm) had a previous history (thus I guess why they knew her by name) with police (at least 4 arrests, twice charged with assault on police.
Before the video featured in the main tread title. It was said the lady pushed both officers. As far as I know, there is no video of this to verify (but the bus has a picture taker but would not release it to public, ongoing investigation). Just witnesses reports.
QUOTE:One witness told NBC LA that prior to the exchange caught on Green's video, the woman shoved both deputies so forcefully that he thought she was on PCP. END QUOTE
Audio file above didn’t work... maybe this one will...

Not all, but far too many.
No longer should any cop be given any benefit of the doubt about anything. They do tend to circle the wagons and protect their own, even if their own commit vicious acts of malfeasance and criminal conduct. Far too often we have seen unwarranted shootings; excessive force used against citizens; questionable stops and interrogations and much, much more. Police today have only themselves to blame. They have failed, miserably, to ferret out the poisonous elements of their “profession”. They have sought protections not available to the average citizen, via their “police unions”. They demand respect but give little...or none.
when I am next called into court as a potential juror, in good conscience I can scarcely say that I will look upon the testimony of any cop as being worth more than any criminal defendant. It is truer today than ever before that it is better a guilty person go free than to allow the tainted and disreputable police class to railroad any marginally innocent person into the crapholes they call “correctional facilities”.
He has erected a multitude of New Offices, and sent hither swarms of Officers to harass our people, and eat out their substance.
- Declaration of Independence
This satement holds true, more and more, for every public institution. Agents of the government our trained to deal with subjects, not a free citizenry living under the protection of Constitutional rights. The only and preferred measure of control is force by any and all means. This directly correlates to the objective of a fearful populous.
Thanks Finny, I do have a irrational fear of being spit upon. I was clearly saying what I personally would do, probable without even thinking about it. I also noted that I did NOT once say that the lady in the video did such a thing as spitting, as a matter of fact, not one mention was made by either party about it. I was just scenario posting on a hotly debated thread (my fault, should of known better, thus why I took a year off FR). I fully understand that fellow FReeper take this serious, and I do too, but I want all the facts first. Some let their hearts lead on such subjects (I am guilty of this on this thread).
One good thing is after being sucked in on a thread, it makes one do a little more research on the subject, thus why I have posted some more links to information including a followup report from the local tv station.
Followup report on the subject including video from the punched lady
The police who beat Kelly Thomas to a a bloody pulp knew him as well.
I guess that’s why the jury thought it was A-OK for them to restrain him, tell him they were going to F-— him up, and then proceed to beat him to death.
