As a binge-TV watcher, I’ve relished devouring serial dramas in advertising-free gulps. But “Breaking Bad” — the story about a cancer-stricken chemistry teacher turned clandestine meth-cooking badass – didn’t appeal.
Then Anthony Hopkins declared it an “epic work” with “the best actors I’ve ever seen.”
Midway through season two, I understand why Walter White is heroic. As men increasingly check out of work, marriage, and fatherhood, it’s hard not to root for a man fiercely determined to secure his family’s future before dying – despite his morally abhorrent methods.
That there are dramatically fewer men willing and able to safeguard family prosperity is perhaps America’s greatest – and most unrecognized — problem.
Consider Sunday’s “Shattering the Glass Ceiling” discussion on ABC’s “This Week.” Lamenting unrealized opportunities and unsolved problems when “women aren’t fully utilized,” businesswoman Carly Fiorina and co-panelists were oblivious about two key facts.

Yep, that’s about right. Outrageous, but true.
To me, women who deserve respect don’t have to command it. Too many women demand respect, but they don’t deserve it and don’t want to make respecting them easy by respecting themselves first and foremost.
People can get just as credentialed in dentistry without having to blow zillions at a “designer university” and it’s the same with school in general.
I KNOW people think that women should go to uni to meet and marry a man, but realistically I think that women have no business spending that much just to pass the time until they meet and marry a man. Then of course, if a man doesn’t come along, then what? Debt and no skills?
I’m lucky that I decided to be smart and avoid uni until I can pay my way and it resulted in me doing my research and I’ve decided not just get certifications and get a degree from a non-designer school. I already have fabulous connections and don’t have to worry in that area.
As fro poverty, women wanted ‘independence’ from men, but didn’t make a plan beyond a man in their thinking.
THIS is the mess that feminists wanted.

You know, so many women, genuinely educated women, don’t want this kind of culture, but the idiot hipsters (go figure) think that marriage to an Arab would be them sitting around in a harem or doing belly dances while wearing veils and skirts.
And yet these genuinely educated women believe that hypocrisy about their unjust hatred and slander and misrepresentation of men will not rebound against them.
Perhaps the genuineness of their education is the real problem - literally. Because genuineness implies certification. And who certifies education, according to what standards? Feminist women, of course - according to feminist standards. And the basis of those standards is female narcissism.
How can that not but bring down the world?

I meant women who aren’t working their personal daddy issues out on the rest of mankind.
Education has been a huge problem; people can no longer cite passages from literature or end up knowing a few phrases in a foreign language and understand the context.
One could say that context is the entire problem - without it, there’s no understanding of it’s role, either. In which case a person becomes blind to it - and vulnerable to those who control it.
Look how carefully the Left tries to control words, and look how they always redefine words rather than create new ones. It’s because they are changing the contextual meaning in order to deny their opponents traction to fight them. Liberals are always crowing about this or that, using these recontextualized terms, and when conservatives try to point out that that’s not what the word actually means, but only its highly politicized usage, the liberals literally do not know what they are talking about.
Its the ultimate in insidiousness, because the hijacking of language is the hijacking of humanity. That’s why polls on specific issues show 90% of the population in actual agreement, yet those same people split apart and fight each other over the grouping of the issues that they agree on!

That may be true with-respect to the way Government schools have been hijacked as instrument of social indoctrination.
But the truth is most parents can’t afford to do otherwise.

This is ultimately the practical bottom line. This is a problem that can and must be personalized among our own families. It is after all about the survival of our own kin.
As a matter of note in relevance to this particular article’s contributing factor, its a lot harder for a woman to raise a large healthy family when she is working, harder still when she is alone. Many of today’s women now rationally choose to be alone rather than support a man who can’t or won’t find a job of his own let alone one equal to or better than her own as most women expect.
Furthermore many of today’s men just as rationally weigh the same reward/cost problem offered by today’s institutionalized discrimination against them and reason they be better off without family. The result is anther major driver collapse in a civilization. The descendants of theses other cultures will not be spared for their posterity just as quickly collapse when introduced to the same poison in our leftist run couture & education.

I don’t disagree that this is personalty imperative for our own family’s long term health & survival. This is about your boy’s future as well as your girl’s who need a good husbands.
But a lot of us have to face facts, the State takes a great deal of our money to spend on their own indoctrination system, and many if not most of us can’t afford the cost of private schooling.
If we cannot take over the local school district or move to an area where boys are not so mistreated we are going to have to find other-ways to keep our boys in a healthy state of growing up for them.
We can’t change the discriminatory nature of the world in which they live, but we can educate them about it in hope that their understanding that it is unfair and unjust to them will help them deal with it rather than leave them thinking that they themselves are wrong. Boy’s can resent injury very well, teaching them to do so constructively and effectively is a different parental challenge that we will have to deal with.
Yes our civilization is dying, that doesn’t mean we have to die with it. Do what you can make sure your family survives this misguided plague. That is the key.
Your proginty has to stick around to be able to form a civilization with mine long after the leftist scourge has collapsed our existing civilization. Don’t let them fall for the leftist ‘modern’ lies about men, women, and family.

Not necessarily. There is a lot of pressure on a young kid at school from teachers and other students. Also from all the pro-gay crap they see on tv and elsewhere in society. Similar thing with politics.
I think kids return to their roots. Teens are nuts. Leftists encourage it.
