A new documentary about Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney premiered Friday night at the Sundance Film Festival in Utah. The film, "Mitt," is an extraordinarily intimate look at the former Massachusetts governor as he ran for president twice, in 2008 and 2012. Director Greg Whiteley had impressed Romney with his 2005 documentary "New York Doll," which brilliantly chronicled a broken-down rock musician's conversion to Mormonism, and for the new film, Romney gave Whiteley unprecedented freedom to record behind-the-scenes moments as the candidate and his family endured the trials of two presidential campaigns.....
the old lack of confidence came out again as Romney suggested he never felt comfortable in the race. He passed on something someone at headquarters had told him: "In some ways, we kind of had to steal the Republican nomination. Our party is southern, evangelical and populist. And you're northern, and you're Mormon, and you're rich. And these do not match well with our party."

A trait common to all RINOs is a complete lack of fire-in-the-belly.
RINOs do not belong in politics.
Romney got it. Unlike McCain, he understood how serious it was to have Obama as President

Yes but understanding and then doing something about it to stop it are two different things...
Willard knew about it and helped the destruction of America along by exploding his ORCA bomb...
DO NOT FORGET ABOUT ORCA...
Wrong. Romney by his own example believed in the power of the individual to create a successful business. Obama has only ever worked for “the state”.

Which business did he create all by himself ???
Bain was the project of a group of men...
Willard was just one of them...
and not a senior partner...
He didn’t even put up his own money...
What about after Benghazi and the video excuse? How about a film from a different location in dilapidated Chicago or Cook County remind America of the type of economics Obama practices? He never hit hard.
Newt’s got more weaknesses than that.
I have to watch “You’ve got mail “ and Titanic first
Romney despised conservatives and conservatism, that was his interest in politics.
Romney left the GOP because of Reagan and didn’t return to the party until H. W. Bush was defeated, Romney returned to the GOP in October of 1993.
During his years away Romney had become a democrat donor, and even a democrat fund raiser, to defeat GOP candidates. Romney even voted democrat in 1992 and he was campaigning on not having voted for Reagan during his 1994 campaign when he was calling for homosexual Scout leaders and a totally open military for gays.
Jesus and lucipher are NOT brothers - to say such is heretical to Christianity. The other poster didn't condemn Myth - as Titus 3:11 clearly states, the heretic condemns himself and heretics are to be rejected.
OK, so who should we be backing for 2016? Chris or Jeb?
Simply put: He didn't step up and elevate his game when it really mattered.
Bump to the top! What a great way of putting it -- EXACTLY! I also think quite a few Democrat voters, often enough to sway the balance, are imaginary or frauds. Vote ginning, manipulation, etc. are easier to rack up in densely populated districts, I would think.
By not voting, they voted for ... no one. Zero. So the total vote count, lacking those 4 million votes of conservatives, made Obama's overall percentage of support falsely inflated and represented.
NOT voting is dumb, to me. It's wrong, too, because the franchise was paid for in blood. Men died so we could vote; to blow it off because we don't like the way Democrats and Republicans do things, is wrong.
But there is no voting "against." There is no "voting 'for' when you don't vote,'" not even effectively. It's like a light switch, on or off. You only get to vote FOR.
Had enough "sick of it" Americans who stayed home, gone to the polls and voted for a sure-loser Don Quixote and split the total vote into a plurality, it would have actually HELPED the right because then, Obama's overall percentage of support would be a minority of Americans. On real paper, in real numbers. And that would make him weaker, the way it hurt Clinton both times it happened to him. Obama would face the world with everyone knowing that two in three Americans rejected him at the ballot box.
Like you, JSteff, I get frustrated when I hear "conservatives" say they're just not going to vote, to hell with it. That is surrender.
Amen! Thanks for stating it so well!
The SCOTUS argument is bogus when you look at the reality on the ground. Most of the major outrages of the Supreme Court since the prayer decision of the early 1960’s had Republican appointed Justices involved in negating parts of the Constitution. Examples of Republican appointees trashing the Constitution:
Earl Warren, 1963 ruling to ban prayer in the public schools
Harry Blackmun 1973 Roe v Wade ruling on the abortion issue
Anthony Kennedy 1986 homosexual rights decision
Sandra Day O’Connor 1989 decision refusing to overturn Roe v Wade
David Souter 1992 Abortion Right decision
John Paul Stevens 2005 Takings clause decision undermining property rights
John Roberts outrageous 2012 Obamacare decision
There are many other examples of Republican appointees undermining the Constitution but the above will suffice in making the point that Republican appointees are helping in the destruction of the Republic.
Romney became the STATE when imposed by his own hand
both RomneyCARE/ObamaCARE and GAY MARRIAGE.
Romney’s agendae, such as having his surrogates
attack the Palin children and the Speaker,
is disgusting.
