A law in Russia banning "homosexual propaganda" has been condemned by critics, who say it incites hatred. But a day hunting and relaxing in the forest - and hearing some extreme views - suggests it has plenty of support.
Saunas are supposed to be relaxing but the prospect of this one filled me with dread.
I was to share it with two heavily armed Russian hunters - Yuri, a steely-eyed veteran of Russia's bloody war in Afghanistan, and Georgy, a burly businessmen who cut his teeth during the violent chaos that consumed Russia after the fall of communism.
That afternoon, with the first snows of the harsh Russian winter blowing in from Siberia, Yuri and Georgy had taken me into the forest. They'd pointed out fresh wolf and elk tracks in the snow - but there was no sign of the family of bears I'd heard lived nearby.

As the sun set we'd dined on a great caldron of peppery soup made with pike caught in one of the nearby lakes. They'd produced a slab of what Russians call "salo", smoked pork fat which you eat raw, washed down with shots of vodka.

Tiger is not a Kalashnikov but a civilian version of Dragunov, re-barreled for better MOA with non-milspec civilian ammo. Salo is not smoked in Russia and Ukraine.

Anybody that has truly asked Jesus into their life, would almost certainly know that Homosexuality, gay marriage and abortion were 150% wrong

The Bible is very clear on this, anybody that reads the Bible under the influence of The Holy Spirit would know all these truths
So that is why I challenge ANYBODY that says they are a Christian, while saying they are pro abortion/pro choice (same thing) or for being a supporter of gay marriage
For one to say they support gay marriage, they are also saying they are fine for homosexuality to be taught as acceptable to kids.
I even take it to the level of challenging a persons claim of Christianity, if they openly vote Democrat
When they say they are Democrats, they are also saying they are fine with everything above as well as being fine with God`s Word being removed from classroom/public square
To vote Democrat means a person is fine with the anti Christian rulings from the Supreme Court since the late 60`s early 70`s
And No I dont see it as being judgmental, just using my God given gifts of reason, testing with the Bible that is 100% TRUE
I find it interesting that this site does not allow comments for many of their articles, including this one. It is not uncommon for sites that push controversial points of view. I find it pervasive on sites pushing AGW, Homosexuality, and an anti-GMO perspective. Can’t seem to tolerate alternative points of view, and presenting facts rather than feelings or opinions generally gets you banned..

As I opined last night to another poster on another thread, even the GOP is surrendering to the sodomite agenda. We saw it in the 2012 campaign. Other than Rick Santorum the GOP candidates all supported the line “let the states figure it out.” Most thought that was fine. However we see even state laws or propositions voting in clear majorities in favor of securing traditional marriage are under attack by federal judicial fiat. It seems weekly each state which has a traditional marriage law is under attack. Oklahoma of all places is the latest.
So what will the tone be for 2014 mid terms and 2016 General elections? Remains to be seen, however I have doubts we will find candidates in the GOP backing a platform for a constitutional amendment for traditional marriage. We will see more of the “let the states decide” which really means let the multitude of recent Obama appointed federal judges decide because that is what will happen. Because so far the SCOTUS has declined to hear recent cases as we see with Utah.

Yes they have already betrayed what was left of the social conservative agenda and are now a one issue party for fiscal conservatives. Unless the Tea party variant makes huge gains, the GOP will lose social conservatives (Christians) in future elections. It started with Romney.
