"They're more pervert in a sense. To me, the show would be too strong, too hard to watch on TV," said the reality star.
ABC's latest Bachelor says he doesn't think that there should be a gay or bisexual person on the broadcast reality television show and described gays as "more pervert in a sense" in a new interview.
Juan Pablo Galavis, the 32-year-old star of The Bachelor who also appeared on the most recent season of The Bachelorette, made the remarks in an interview with The TV Page's Sean Daly, who posted audio of the comments.
The writer asked whether ABC should have a gay or bisexual bachelor on the show. "No," Pablo Galavis responded. "Just 'cause I respect them but, honestly, I don't think it's a good example for kids to watch that on TV. It's hard, it's hard, it's a very thin line."

Well, let's see how fast he goes to beg the forgiveness of Robin Roberts.
ABC, Warner Horizon Television and the Bachelor producers issued a statement: “Juan Pablos comments were careless, thoughtless and insensitive, and in no way reflect the views of the network, the shows producers or studio.”
Well, there you go: ABC begs to stay in the good graces of the homosexuals. This from the network that tried to foist “Good Christian Bitches” onto the cultural landscape.
How did that work out, ABC?
This dude could be in for a rude awakening. He’s p**ssing off the paragons of political correctness.
Can’t wait to see how the liberals handle this. Can’t wait for the predictable meltdown, calls for him to be banned from the show, driven out of any other shows, etc.
Actually, if you think about it, if the Homosexuals can tarnish their belief system as effectively as the Heterosexuals on the show have theirs, it might actually be something worth thinking about.
I once found the show rather entertaining. I can’t even watch it anymore, what with the disgusting people on the show.
I sure hope kids aren’t using it for a model of how the two genders should interact.
Frankly my dear, I don't give a damn.
Not an issue. All of the gays are over on HGTV anyway so none are available.
Why does Drudge have this as a huge headline? Is Drudge gay?
Watch out Mr. Galavis. You’ll be lumped in with that “ignerent redneck” Phil Robertson. And your Hispanic-ness won’t do you any good. Gays are higher up on the food chain.
Adios, Juan.
SHEPARD SMITH, MATT DRUDGE AGAIN MAKE GAY MAGAZINE POWER LIST
Why not have gays swapping spit and spooning on Bachelor? Maybe they would go down in the ratings so fast that they would do us all a favor and end this sickly harem sope opera show.
I pleasantly surprised the see reality TV show star Juan Pablo taking such a strong Pro Family Values stand in between his work on TV shows designed to arrange marriage between a man and a woman.
That guy is outa’ there.
Well ABC can always put homos on The Bachelor but the show will tank after the first episode.
Meanwhile over on A&E ratings on Duck Dynasty will be off the charts.
Juan can kiss his acting career goodbye.
” Is Drudge gay?”
Hah hah!! No one told you?
And the same network that along with CBS climbed all over A&E for letting Phil Robertson come back after one week. Hypocritical B@$T@RD$
He is one big piece of burnt toast for speaking the truth.
Since when did Robin Roberts become an outspoken supporter of homosexuals? Or for that matter, when has she ever professed being a lesbian other than a Facebook comment about her supportive girl friend that the MSM picked up on and published in an attempt to continue THEIR promoting homosexuality and lesbianism?
FWIW, in my opinion, Robin Roberts is a true professional in her profession as are the other members of GMA, including the now departed homosexual Sam Champion...........
