Even a chief justice if they don't contort the Constitution to serve a federal government power grab.

They honestly don't need that; the idea of federal power is deeply ingrained into the psyche of the federal government's agents — to the point that Treason is standard operating procedure. Consider, for a moment, the twisting and turning the USSC has done to support "exigent circumstances" exception to the 4th Amendment's requirement for a warrant… which doesn't appear in the constitution. Consider how they strive to support the War on Drugs — to the point that they declare non-commerce to be able to be regulated by the Congress under the interstate commerce clause.

Heck, the War on Drugs itself is Treason as defined by the Constitution. The commerce clause reads as To regulate Commerce with foreign Nations, and among the several States, and with the Indian Tribes, which means that the power over interstate commerce is the same power over foreign commerce. To declare the ability to regulate commerce inside a foreign nation as the federal government does the several states would be rightly considered a declaration of war; thus the enforcement of that declaration is the waging of that war. — this fulfills the Constitutional requirements for Treason: Treason against the United States, shall consist only in levying War against them, or in adhering to their Enemies, giving them Aid and Comfort.

Indeed. The idea that FR or any of the conservative blogosphere would be even functioning partly under a police state is laughable.

Why not? I mean you can have a place to watch for any signs of resistance-organization plus it provides a "relief-valve" for people to vent (and feel like they "accomplished something" when they did nothing).

This is the equivalent of saying that the dems could rig all elections, but they let us win some to feel like we accomplished something. It’s just too far into tin foil hat territory.

See, here's your problem: you seem to believe that there's a difference between Democrat and Republican — if there's anything that Obama's tenure has shown it's that there really isn't. (After all, how much opposition has the opposition party really given?)

I made a brochure that illustrates the lack of actual differences between the parties:
