President Barack Obama announced Friday that John Podesta, his new "counselor" and the political operative responsible for creating the institutional left in Washington, will be the appointed "to lead a comprehensive review of big data and privacy" in the aftermath of revelations about the National Security Agency's electronic spying programs. When he joined the White House last month, Podesta's focus was said to be "climate change."

There is plenty of justification for NSA to have tools to protect America. The problem is that tools in the hands of a government that has repeatedly lied and abused their position of trust will surely be abused again. They have shown a propensity to hire dishonest people at every level from navigators to their cabinet and advisory level employees.

What obama really said in his 45 minute speech; We spied on most of the world, its leaders and all of the people of the United States, we got caught, so let me be perfectly clear, I’m going to hire two more democrats, one at NSA and one at the WH to provide me more cover and appoint Podesta to do an in depth study to cover my ass.
