Everyone is groping for reasons that Obama is blocking Keystone. It makes no sense. However, his reasoning becomes crystal clear when you consider the following:

Obama hates conservatives, especially successful conservative capitalist white people. PM Harper is a conservative white person and Canada is a successful capitalist country. I believe there is some personal animus towards Harper from Obama.
