Senate Democrats pledging to get more aggressive on climate change will soon pressure the major TV networks to give the topic far greater attention on the Sunday talking-head shows.
Sens. Bernie Sanders, I-Vt., and Brian Schatz, D-Hawaii, are gathering colleagues' signatures on a letter to the networks asserting that they're ignoring global warming.
"It is beyond my comprehension that you have ABC, CBS, NBC, and Fox, that their Sunday shows have discussed climate change in 2012, collectively, for all of eight minutes," Sanders said, citing analysis by the liberal watchdog group Media Matters for America.

My local stations all cover climate change several times each day. They have full time staff, fancy graphics, doppler radar, etc..
It’s called “The Weather”; these Senators should check it out. It’s quite helpful. Perhaps it would help keep them from being all wet and in the dark.

We’ve got a good local weather channel. They do 24 hour weather with a little local news. They have a going green link on their page but don’t push it in their broadcasting.

I heard Al Roker blame global warming for Sandy. You know, the Cataclysmic Storm of the Century (because it hit the Northeast).
The media even knows that this bunch are like herpes. No touchee.
As Pat Michaels pointed out in that thread, the global average temperature was rising 0.16C per decade and that was no cause for concern. Now the rate of increase has slowed to about 1/2 that, 0.08C per decade. Yet the fearmongers are shriller than ever.
The networks already do so it’s a non-issue.
They could provide video of the global warming research ship and the ice breaker stuck in the antarctic ice.....

They should write a counter letter demanding that TV networks cover Obamacare cancellations, bad policies and crappy service.
If global warming is too bogus for the leftist propaganda networks to spin, it is time for the Church of Climatology to move on, maybe back to the ice age. They can’t move forward to current science, nor accept the frost on their noses as a sign of cold weather.
Perhaps they can even spend some time showing the proof of GW? Marxists lie and have nothing else to offer.

Rush Limbaugh talks about it plenty. I hope some Republican attaches a resolution praising Limbaugh for his open discussions about the topic. That would really frost the Dems.
