Thank you. I didn’t know there was a back story but I suspected something of the sort. What he did was shall I say, despicable - or Clintonesque? But I repeat myself.
It’s about time we dropped the word. RINOs are so ubiquitous in the GOPee to be a RINO is to be at the pinnacle of the GOP establishment. RINOS are the GOPee. We need a new term that expresses what treacherous slime balls they are. I nominate Vichy Republicans.

I don’t think RINO is used in the way you suggest, as in less than a majority.
It refers, I think, to how far the RINOs are from traditional republican values.

I want to ban “immigration reform”. Huckabee never stops using it.
His job is to agree with the mainstream media on every important issue, but is allowed to maintain his pragmatic credentials with occasional decorative budget cuts that are vociferously protested by activist groups more for the publicity than because of their negligible impact.
