The Weather Channel feed was switched to show WeatherNationTv just after midnight EST January 14th. the TWC logo is there still in the DirecTV channel lineup, but the content is WeatherNation.
See the proof, this screencap off my TV at 9:02PM PST (12:02 AM EST):
Global Warming!
ROFLMAO!
Next, remove crap channels such as Oprah or Bravo.
Yep DirectTv told TWC they were not going to pay another penny for their crappy liberal content!
Damn, how will folks find out if Al Roker crapped his pants again, how the truck drivers on ice are doing, how Cantorie is making out standing in bad weather, etc, etc?
Good
TWC appears to be a tad bit upset that Direct TV has dropped them. TWC on-camera folks were urging their 39 viewers to DEMAND they be returned to Direct’s lineup.
I presume Direct got tired of their global warming rants and the fact that they never really did the weather anymore. Apparently, Direct was receiving many complaints that TWC only broadcasts 30 minute filmed packages and then over and over, ad nauseum.
I had DirecTV 2005-2009. I never watched The Weather Channel because they didn’t have local weather, which I could look up on weather.com. Did that ever change?
I also didn’t need to watch The Weather Channel because I lived in an area where weather could be determined by looking at a calendar.
WeatherNation is owned by Direct TV itself. The Weather Channel is owned by NBC/Universal, and is completely on the NBC-dictated Globo-warmin’ propaganda bandwagon.

I just came from canada for Christmas/New year. Same schtick. However, they don’t lecture you about glowbull warming. They can’t really do it when it’s always snowing all over the country LOL
What is ironic is that many of the 30 minute packages TWC showed were made in Canada, especially the fireworks shows and shows about the guy who owned the C47 aircraft in northern Canada (an interesting series I thought. Rather difficult to push GW when it is 50 below although the TWC folks tried.
“Glowbull” is right on the mark!
Nice work, JH. Thnks.
I am not at all familiar with WeatherNation what is their stance on Globo-warmin
I’ve never seen what they are broadcasting since I don’t have a TV but from what I have read they just report the weather similar to the way the Weather Channel used to do it before they were bought out by NBC.
Why can’t they remove that piece of garbage OWN Network..that network gets zero ratings yet it still exists
...and the Algore suicide watch continues.
