The title of this post is no great revelation. Anyone who follows politics, even halfheartedly, knows how much truth is in that statement. Barack Obama is President, not because of his qualifications, of which he has very few, but because of the color of his skin. Many of us have made that statement before, but we now have proof of that fact.
There is a new book coming out that is being previewed by several media outlets. It's title is HRC: State Secrets and the Rebirth of Hillary Clinton. The excerpt that is being used is called Hillary's Hit List and it tells of a list that was kept of the friends and enemies of the Clintons. It is especially specific when it comes to how Bill and Hillary Clinton felt betrayed by some of the people who failed to endorse her 2008 candidacy for President. Some of these people were supposed to be good friends of the Clintons, but history and circumstances got in the way.
As I was reading through the preview, I was not shocked to find evidence of how Barack Obama managed to win so many of the endorsements that should have gone to Hillary Clinton. What did surprise me was the openness with which the sentiment was displayed. The following quote is about Jim Moran, D-VA and Kris Balderston, one of Hillary Clinton's top aides. Part of the quote has been removed because of language concerns
Politico - For several months, Balderston and Elrod had kept close tabs on an even smaller subset of targeted members of Congress, who were still undecided after Super Tuesday. Because Hillary and her team made such an intense effort to swing these particular lawmakers in the final months of the campaign, they are the first names that spring to mind when Hillarys aides today talk about who stuck a knife in her back and twisted it. For Balderston, the betrayal of Rep. Jim Moran (D-Va.) was perhaps the most personal. The two men were social friends in the Del Ray neighborhood of Alexandria, about six miles from campaign headquarters. They were even in the same book club. For months Balderston had casually pressed Moran about his endorsement. Moran played coy. He praised Hillary but came up short of promising an endorsement. Then, in January 2008, Moran left a voice message for Balderston: Im all in for Hillary, he said.I am no fan of Hillary Clinton and I am certain she would have been no better for the country, had she defeated Barack Obama and went on to become President in 2008. I can, however, see why she would have so disappointed. Many of the people she counted on to endorse her candidacy turned their backs on her and endorsed Barack Obama. The overriding factor in those endorsements was the color of his skin.Naturally, Balderston was excited. The courtship of delegates hadnt been going well, and adding a new name to Hillarys column was welcome news. But Balderstons joy was short-lived. What the ****? he exclaimed a couple of weeks later as he read the news that Moran was set to endorse Obama. He called the congressman. Do not ever call me again! Balderston said. He stopped going to the book club. (Its an accurate account. But were friends again, and I plan on making it up to him in the 2016 campaign since Ive always been in love with Hillary, Moran said. I simply thought that given the opportunity, it was too important that this country elect an inspiring black president.)
Stop and think about that for a moment. It was a potent combination. Barack Obama is good at reading speeches from a teleprompter. He is excellent at stirring up crowds and their fever pitch. He is a master at shedding blame and on top of that, he is black. According to the book, he was ratcheting up pressure on lawmakers, telling them they needed to get on the "right side of history". He can claim all he wants that is black skin had nothing to do with his winning two elections, but that's nothing but a lie and denial. He actively pursued that tact.
The results are plain to see. We now have had a community organizer as President for five years, based on the fact that he is black. Is it any wonder America is in the shape it is in?
So he was elected because he’s black. He won and was only half qualified.
If the magic negro was any old white guy he’d still be some nobody in the Chicago democRAT machine.
He is little more than America’s quota boy.
Speaks more about HRC than BHO.
He’s half as black as I am.
He’s president because he ran against establishment Republicans like McCain and Romney.
Thanks be to low information voters.
And Hillary Clinton will be the next president because she is a woman. It does not matter that she has Benghazi blood on her hands; that she has questionable accomplishments as Secretary of State; that she is a Socialist, and that she has shady past. She will win.
The left wing conspiracy has successfully infiltrated and taken over our country, and is well on its way to creating world chaos.
It’s the whole Barry White mystique.
I have zero doubt that the single largest factor in his election was day-dreaming white women.
Sorry if I offended anyone, but if anybody has any facts to disprove it, I (and Obama!!!) am all ears!
Toss in a little bit of the-guy-on-the-corner with the shells and peas, and that covers all the bases.
God rules the nations and appoints leaders.
The very same reason that establishment doesn’t criticize him or his policies, which have clearly failed by all measure. They are afraid as being seen as racist(s). The GOP-e would rather see the country collapse than to be seen as racist.
That being said, I’m afraid we’ve reach the point of no return without some major event.
Hillary was boring, just as she is now. Very 90s and looks terrible with those stupid glasses. Obama was exciting (to the liberals) and he took the convention by a storm.
No, the Democratic party wanted to plunge leftward, and Obama was more Pro-Abortion and Pro-Socialist than Hillary. Obama attacked American Traditions (even not covering his heart for the Pledge of Allegiance) including attacking church goers, gun lovers, and those against gay marraige (God, Guns and Gays at San Francisco).
Hillary had failed to get nationalized healthcare, and Obama seemed more energized than her to foist it upon America.
Now that the Democrats have seen what Obama has wrought (Obamacare, Gays married in the military, etc.) and loved it. I doubt they can step back but instead promote immorality even more. They won't be able to hold back lest another Obama comes through and is more "Progressive" than they.
Yes. And here I was ready to vote for Herman Cain and those racist SOBs in the MSM and the Dhimmicrat party went out of their way to look for things against him, that they consider positive in a leftist pol.
It is likely that Hillary will be elected solely because she is, I use the word loosely, a woman.
It’s nice he can chose one color over the other...he’s not black, nor is he white...he’s bi-racial!
“Hes president because he ran against establishment Republicans like McCain and Romney.”
It started before that; Hillary was beating him in primaries (where votes are counted) so they gave him the caucuses (where “enthusiasm” is counted). Hillary supporters sucked it up and voted for him anyway...
You are correct sir, unfortunately.
And also states in which Hillary won the primaries, the votes were given to him anyway.
Absolutely. And the white sheep fell in line....and voila...
