New Mexico lawmakers want to lower the bar for high school graduates. The state already has one of the lowest graduation rates in the country.
The new plan establishes two kinds of diplomasthe current diploma of excellence, and a general one.

In some places it’s pretty much that way now.

they could save a lot of money and just get rid og high schools. teachers could become freelance neighnorhood tutors for hire.
That would be utterly against communist plank number 10, “Free education for all children in public schools”. Anything resembling bourgeois non-communism has to be stamped out, remember?
What this country needs is a “Dumbing Down Czar” to make sure America’s children will all fail equally.
There you go. Take that general diploma to the university, get affirmative action help, get gifted with a diploma so you can be our next Supreme Court Justice, or another slacker appointee lofted by the Democrats to defeat our Constitution and weaken our nation.
The General diploma is the Democrat’s diploma.

Striving for excellence is a thing of the past. Mediocrity is now our highest goal.
This downward trend began with the advent of the Department of Education many years ago. Check it out.
Get rid of the DOE and let States take complete control. Then watch results begin to improve.
