I’m not sure that Roberts could be removed from his position if this came out. Anyone know whether he could be impeached? As to the adoption - if it was felonious, then he needs to deal with it. I don’t know how but these sort of problems only get worse the longer they are hidden.

Does anyone have a link to a copy of the stay request? Was it made as part of a larger, ongoing case, or was it just an uninvited shot out of the blue?

I have a hard time explaining a lot of politician votes without blackmail being a factor.

I don’t know if this story has any truth to it, but I suspect blackmail is a widespread problem in our government.

Anyone remember Maxine Waters talking about the Democrats super database with info on everyone?

It has become almost impossible for someone to rise to great prominence unless they are corrupted. The Powers That Be will open doors to those they can control via bribery or blackmail - and Roberts in this regard is not much different from obanghole, clinton, holder, and 75% of the senate.

“The basis of this charge surrounds the fact that a series of strange (and probably felonious) acts are attached to the adoption of his two children.”

More than likely this is exactly what Roberts is being blackmailed for.

Around the time of his confirmation one of the major news affiliates tried to get the details of the adoption of Roberts 2 children which had been sealed. It caused suck a bruhaha that they finally gave it up.

Roberts two adopted children are from Ireland. The law in Ireland forbids any Irish children from being adopted and moved out of the country. Supposedly Roberts tried an end run around the law by having the two pregnant women leave Ireland and go to Argentina, give birth and then sign the children away to Roberts.. Then they flew back to Ireland and Roberts came home to the US with the two infants.

I think he's being blackmailed over something or bribed with huge riches, but the wrongful adoption?.....not a chance that would be enough to blackmail him, unless he solicited the murder of the kids parents....

every normal person understands the heartache of not being able to produce children, and the intense desire to have children....

no, its something else...wouldn't at all be surprised if he was similar to the obamma orientation....wouldn't be surprised at all....

The phoney adaption is all or a good part of the reason. Obama was gloating two weeks before the SC decision that the SC would not defy what Congress passed. Will of the people expressed via Congress. Obama telegraphed this decision. 0bama knew he had Roberts in the bag

By strange coincidence, in 1937 Republican and presumed conservative, USSC Justice Owen Roberts voted to affirm the Constitutionality of the Social Security Act.

From the Wiki:
"Steward Machine Company v. Davis, 301 U.S, 548[8] (1937) held, in a 5–4 decision, that, given the exigencies of the Great Depression, "[It] is too late today for the argument to be heard with tolerance that in a crisis so extreme the use of the moneys of the nation to relieve the unemployed and their dependents is a use for any purpose narrower than the promotion of the general welfare". The arguments opposed to the Social Security Act (articulated by justices Butler, McReynolds, and Sutherland in their opinions) were that the social security act went beyond the powers that were granted to the federal government in the Constitution. They argued that, by imposing a tax on employers that could be avoided only by contributing to a state unemployment-compensation fund, the federal government was essentially forcing each state to establish an unemployment-compensation fund that would meet its criteria, and that the federal government had no power to enact such a program."

Roberts ruled that essential aspects of the “Affordable Care Act” constitute a tax. To have standing to challenge a tax, someone has to have suffered damage by actually being forced to pay it. The group suing hasn’t paid it, so they have no standing. Therefore, Roberts rationally denies their request for a stay.

I’ll put the conspiracy theories on hold until someone actually pays the tax, challenges it, and works a case through the court system to the SC. The sooner that happens the better, since we are one “conservative” justice away from rubber stamp approval. Waiting for all this bs sucks, but that is how the law works.

Wow. I am going to cut to the chase here: Roberts was most likely blackmailed. But he was playing chess while obastard, Soros, and crew were playing checkers. In the end, Roberts (who really is on the side of the Constitution) wins. But there is and will be ugliness before victory. Welcome to war.
