Assemblyman John Wisniewski told the Daily News that he is convinced that 'laws were broken,' and said Christie could possibly be impeached if it turns out he had knowledge of the political payback scheme. Hours earlier, State Assembly Speaker-elect Vincent Prieto announced he planned to subpoena more emails and documents in the investigation.

The New Jersey assemblyman leading the Gov. Chris Christie Bridgegate probe says he’s convinced “laws were broken.”

“We had public employees use public resources for a political purpose,” Assemblyman John Wisniewski told the Daily News Saturday.

“They closed the lanes of the George Washington Bridge to exact some kind of retribution on the town of Fort Lee or the mayor of Fort Lee.

It's a good thing for me that the Rino Pubs don't have the stones ... thanks in part to MSM cover ... to go after a corrupt Democrat politician who lies and breaks the law ... constantly and flagrantly!

But if you like your president lying to you, you can keep your president lying to you.

The thing about this...he not only harmed the intended political figure...but he harmed the population of the Fort Lee area, and the Republicans who travel over this bridge every day. In one fatal move, he has made himself a fairly negative figure to people who would support and vote for him. Around the whole state now...a fair number of Republicans question things and wonder to what extent he might have done revenge onto them or their town/neighborhood.

Bluntly, he’s done something awful stupid or allowed his staff to run freely and do stupid stuff. They didn’t obviously worry about what happens when you get caught. For me, he was a possible positive on the Republican side for 2016 (I didn’t say for President, but at least he could talk the talk). Now? Zero. He’s “bridge-dude”, and got bad karma written all over his style. I wouldn’t want him in Iowa, and he just invites more and more questions (what else did he do).

You need to pay attention Ann’s been done with Christie for months. As she put it in a recent interview, “he’s dead to me”...

Christie needs to change party affiliation. Lying democrats are more politically correct.

Calling Mayor Sokolich “this little Serbian” is just too personal for Christie. I don't doubt he plays very hardball politics, but he wouldn't be personal, or bring race or ethnicity into it. Guess is it has something personal to do with Wildstein, Kelly or Drewniak -- who knows what -- but not Christie.

The media is pulling out the stops on this because Christie was ahead of Hillary in several recent polls. I never thought that he could win the Republican nomination, never mind draw Joe-the-hunter to the polls in 2012, but Hillary's handler's must be getting worried. Interesting that 4 Americans left to die isn't a big deal, but another traffic jam in New Jersey is.

Yup, and the queen said I’d be king if I had balls. Both comments true, neither likely.

As I posted earlier, this is just another: LOOK! OVER THERE! A CONFEDERATE FLAG! And it worked
Gates’ book? Back page
IRS? Back page
Benghazi? back page

Now since that has played so well, they are ramping it up. Either they fall on their faces or Christie is toast. Depending on how well this further plays and so far it is playing to a full house. And the MSM will parse every phrase, word or even syllable to find something to add fuel to the fire. I suspect Christie is toast.

I’m so confused. I have been told by Mr. Christie that his tenure in NJ is such a triumph because he, unlike those Washington Tea Party types, reaches over the aisle to get things done. He treads lightly on the politics and, as head of the Republican Governors Association, can’t even say he will support Republicans in certain races. Hell, he even can’t support Republicans in his own state for fear of ruining that bi-partisan cooperation.

So how possibly could his opponents be turning on him and threatening to overturn a landslide election victory? Aren’t they his friends? Aren’t they his partners?

Who does the left think this hurts?

Just curious, I mean the conservative base doesn't support this guy. Personally, I'd like the field narrowed down to a few viable conservatives, maybe two or three.

This guy doesn't even rate for the running. He's a product of leftist propaganda and now a victim of it.

Thank you. Not that I think too much of our governor, but why is this still news? Al Gore stopped rush hour traffic here for a couple hours so he could drive on the parkway to a fundraiser and that story was dropped a few hours later.

Anyone still think the Media is not problem No. 1 that must be solved by nothing short of its destruction? We have a POTUS who has been lawless and vindictive to the point of imperiling, if not destroying, our democracy. He even has gone after the media. In response, crickets. But a traffic jam on a bridge that doesn’t need an excuse to have one? Now that’s news to be used by the ministry of propaganda. There is no way our democracy can function so long as the media is a nameless, faceless, power wielding participant acting for the benefit of its far left, anti-democracy agenda.

Meanwhile in NJ the movement is on to impeach Christie, overturn a landslide election victory, and replace him with a governor from the same pure and non-corrupt party that gave us Corzine. I think Corzine did something wrong on Wall Street but you will never hear that in the news.
