Good point, but someone who spills the beans in a tell-all book long after he's left office is not a "whistle-blower" in any sense of the term.

That is true. Same principle applies: I want them to fear and actually expect exposure. Better sooner than later, but better late than never.

Exactly. That’s a coward and a cynical profiteer. A patriot, a man of character with balls, would resign RIGHT THEN, and publically explain why.
