.....Cruz, who is considered a potential candidate for president in 2016, was introduced by former Sen. Phil Gramm. Gramm compared Cruzs effort to derail Obamacare against the wishes of some in his own party to the siege of the Alamo. Gramm acknowledged Republicans were hurt politically by the government shutdown, according to polls. Gramm noted that when Col. Travis drew a line in the sand, some volunteers crossed it and some did not. The ones who didnt cross the line died too. But no one remembered their names, he said.......

I don’t think even the great Phil Gramm could forsee just how closely the financial industry would bed down with the political class.
Gramm? Phil Gramm?? Wake up, it’s 2014 - you’ve got a lot of catching up to do ;-)
Care to share proof?
Or do you like posting unsubstantiated posts?

Since impeachment is off the table due to political correctness,
then there is no consequence for Obama if he acts outside of the law,
and therefore, he IS “not bound by the law”.
LOL, np, done the same thing myself.
LEX: If it’s any consolation, I still get Cruz and Rubio confused, too. Not proud of it, but there it is.
Great Post!
I would call that pragmatism.
I remember clearly in 2007 and 2008 Pelosi let her progressives play at their mock impeachment hearings all they wanted, but she wouldn't let them do anything to get impeachment into a news story.
Pelosi had her eye on the prize. Win many more seats in 2008 and then pass Obamacare, and that she did.
You wont hear that on talk radio for sure.
As Johnny says, no problem, all is forgotten, now let me go call off this airstrike :)
The NSA spying has achieved its goal. They spy and a guy loses any power to complain about anything.
Not that I think gramm is the man, just simply folks talk, by now we should have had honest discussions about our country’S collapse between house and senate, looking for one to take the reins and lead others out to me is not seeing the forest for the trees. We the people no longer have God given rights and he does not like it. So I believe he has closed the ears of the wise and only has left one way home. America has fallen period. Come lord
You are correct, blame christians like the nazis did the jews, tell christians from that point of view that there is no God, just like climate change bs, and demand christians are removed from the holy society order of fools, and will not be able to buy sell trade.
Fact of history. Anytime a government or ruling class demonizes a specific group of people in their society, without any exception, those people are exterminated by that same government and ruling class .
all legally of course. Threat to the state and security of the regular people dontcha know.
I couldn’t care less about the fate of the fat bastard from NJ. I’m all about supporting Ted Cruz! He’s my pick for 2016.Go Teddy Go!
The worst thing about Gramm is that he yielded us Cornball.
Ted Cruz Ping!
If you want on/off this ping list, please let me know.
Please beware, this is a high-volume ping list!
single issue narrow mindedness is the reason conservatives always lose
Senator Graham was our first choice for President in 2000 and we supported him until he withdrew. Where would we be today had we nominated and elected him?
