As the political winds are turning to presidential politics in 2016, now is the time for Republicans to start thinking about their ticket. I know it's early, but the top of the Democratic ticket has already been pretty much decided by the mainstream media. It's Hillary and whoever she wants as her veep.
For the Republicans, they will need someone at the top of the ticket who is principled. He'll keep his campaign promises. He must have an economic issue that will resonate with women because men already support the GOP. Women especially independent women are the holy grail of a winning national campaign.
In my opinion, it can't be someone from the far right, the Tea Party.
-snip-
That means Jeb Bush as the presidential nominee and either Scott Walker or Chris Christie as the vice-presidential candidate.
Many will say there is Bush fatigue. Many will say that Christie is not conservative enough. But Christie can attract Northeastern Republicans and Democrats voters the GOP will need in 2016.

Well there goes my lunch.
I live in a parallel universe where up is up, down is down, wrong is wrong, and evil is evil, and, Cruz is the best presidential candidate for America, not for just himself and his little kingdom...unlike 0bummer, Bush, etc.
I’d bet if 500 random 6th graders were polled and asked, “Who is the king of America?”, I’d bet they’d say Ob*ma at a 40% clip. Yep, that is where I think the miseducation level is in America now.
NO MORE BUSH!
WOW and I thought Christie was bad, this one is even worse..the lesser of two evils my left butt cheek..I want NEITHER
The great irony here is that Jeb Bush was probably far better qualified to be the President of the United States than George W. was.
Once again, the Democrat media is attempting to choose the Republican presidential candidate, ensuring that (a) he’ll be a dedicated liberal in Republican camouflage and, (b) he’ll have no chance. Anyone who thinks Jeb Bush and Chris Christie would be a winning Republican presidential/vice presidential combination is either insane or, more likely Karl Rove.
Oh, HELL NO!!
Had more than enough of the Bush Family. Jeb can get lost as far as I’m concerned.
The ‘RATS and the GOP both are scared to death that a pro-America, tax cutter will win the nomination. A giant setback for the thieving commie DemocRATS who have their voter base convinced that hardworking, TEA Party taxpayers should support their freeloading lifestyles.
What we really need is a Second Party.
The RATs and Lite RATs aren’t going to cut it.
He stood by and let Terry Schiavo be murdered.
There is no way on God’s green Earth that I would ever vote for him.
Jeb Bush is a family member of a family which is sold out to globalist rule. Have we forgotten so quickly that his brother George gave US the ‘patriot act’ which has greased the skids of totalitarian control over America?
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
Christie is not the right candidate
Jeb Bush is not the right candidate
Romney was not the right candidate
McCain was not the right candidate
Dole was not the right candidate
You forgot to mention the Greatest President that this country has had in over 100 years. President Ronald Wilson Reagan.
No more Bushes—I know the Democrats would love him to run but—There is more a chance Sarah Palin will run than that has been—yes, he can speak Spanish, that’s his only asset.
Lets look for another! No more Huckabees, McCains, Newts, or anyone who ran before—lets seek new blood in the party!
“From 1952 to 2008 with one exception (1964) there was either a Nixon, a Dole or a Bush on the Republican national ticket. “
Okay, but look what happened in 1964 when the country was a lot more white and a lot more conservative too.
