A 26-year-old Florida woman may never walk again after her kind gesture to offer a stranger a ride to the hospital turned into a nightmare attack that has ruined her life. Tallahassee-resident Katie Schlinger told her traumatic story to MailOnline, revealing details about the night she offered to drive a stranger to the hospital before 'he physically and sexually attacked her'. Ms Schlinger says she fought back and escaped with her life, but two spinal surgeries later, she still can't use her right arm or walk on her own. And since she's uninsured, she already owes one hospital $250,000 and is about to be kicked out of a third. She was smoking a cigarette in the car at the nearby Quality Inn around 4am when she was approached by 23-year-old Michael Antwon Fuller who asked her for a cigarette and the two started talking about their relatives in the hospital.
Fuller told her he was worried about his uncle at the hospital and wondered if she wouldn’t mind driving him up there so he could see him.
‘Yeah I’ll give you a ride if you promise not to hurt me,’ she joked, agreeing to drive him since the hospital was only four minutes away and Fuller was clean cut, well-spoken and well dressed. ‘Who could hurt that precious face?’ Ms Schlinger recalls him responding.

This sub-human mutant (God Bless you Bob Grant) should be made into her personal slave for life - work to pay her bills and support her until he dies. If not, execute him and recycle whatever chemicals can be retrieved from his body to defray the cost.

I am unable to provide a constructive comment on this story due to extreme anger.
A problem exists where if you own a truck you can’t let a hitchiker ride in the bed of the truck...because they have to be seatbelted.
So trucks can’t safely give hitchhikers rides.
Neither can anyone.
So the consequence is that hitchhiking is reduced...probably not a bad thing. Another consequence is that some good samartians have to take a chance every once in a great while to help someone out and give them a ride, instead of telling them to put their thumb out and hopefully get a ride in some ones truck.
Another gullible white liberal learns a hard lesson.......
Not sure which is more tragic, the people in this story or me and the dozens of others who had this as their first thought and gave the comment a thumbs up.

But it sure is tragic that these people are willing to put their lives on the line in order to believe the lies that are necessary to sustain their worldview.
You see, liberals’ want to think of themselves as good, moral people, which is the foundational lie of all the other lies they have to maintain in order to sustain this basic lie.

Women, when some man you love says, “Please be careful and don’t put yourself in bad situations!”, this is exactly what he means. Don’t despise him for trying to manager your life or tell you how to live. Thank him for caring that you continue to live.

I concur, but that was a meandering way of saying what the original site poster said, albeit, more succinctly.
An unfortunate story, and extremely poor judgement on her part.
That doesn’t excuse the perp at all, but should serve as an example for others.
