On average, the high temperatures are getting higher, and the lows are getting higher too. Global warming is as real and serious as ever, it's just exceedingly gradual compared with the dramatic temperature swings that are still part of living in midlatitudes in winter.

If record cold doesn't disprove global warming, why have you used virtually every single record high recorded anywhere in the past 10 years to prove it's real?
The earth warmed up from the last ice age with 0% human input. I suspect it will cool down again at some point with 0% human input involved in it.
If an ice age started today and in 20 years we saw massive glacier growth, shorter summers, etc. the Warmunistas would still insist that it is caused by AGW.

Just remember these two rules about Global Warming:
1 - Record setting cold, snow or ice do not disprove the existence of Global Warming. They are just anecdotal evidence of a temporary condition or weather phenomena and can be disregarded.
2 - Record setting warm temperatures, drought, rain, storms, melting ice, or other unusual and similar conditions are undeniable empirical evidence that man caused Global Warming is destroying the planet.
By the same token, record highs, and variations even lasting years to decades, also do not prove global warming. There has always been variability in the Earth’s climate. Further, climate change is not the same as anthropomorphic climate change.
When nothing can disprove a theory - the theory stops being a theory and becomes a religion.
Someone is really trying to sell a massive tax scam to the world via of global non warming.
Record cold in January or record heat in August is not dispositive of climate change. Over the last 130 years the average (5 year running average) temperature has gone up about 1 C. There is no evidence or model that can explain this satisfactorily or provide any proof that the act of mankind is the agent.
