Some conservatives see the ballot box as their only means of recourse against an out-of-control government. But over the last three national elections, including the 2010 midterm elections that propelled the Republicans to take control of the U.S. House of Representatives, things havent worked out as planned.
Mark Levin, author of The Liberty Amendments: Restoring the American Republic, charts a path to reel in the growth of this ever-expanding federal leviathan by harnessing the sentiment that inspired the Tea Party movement.
In a three-hour interview he conducted with C-SPAN that aired Sunday night, he praised the Tea Party movement and explained what their grievances are with the current state of the union.
Thank God for the Tea Party, Levin said.
"The Tea Party is the modern-day conservative constitutional movement. And without it, the debt would be bigger. The unfunded liabilities would be bigger and the federal government would be even more consolidated. So, I think it is a crucially important movement. I think it needs to grow and I think if the Republican Party wants to go to war, apparently it does, with the Tea Party movement, then the Republican Party is going to lose because the Tea Party is, there as I say in Ameritopia, is nothing more than citizens hard-working, taxpaying citizens that have had enough, who see the $90, now $100 trillion in unfunded liabilities, see the massive federal debt just more, more and more, see the fecklessness of the Republican Party, see the radicalness of the Democratic Party and they say enough is enough."
Levin anticipates a defeat for the Republican Party if it tries to go to war with the Tea Party...

dammit I missed it.
Watched and hung on every word.
The more you see reality, the more his words ring true.
Especially, with backs to the wall, having to BYPASS these turkeys like he writes and speaks about...
So of course both parties turn on the Tea Party and attack it,
Sadly, there are no “both parties”, Republican and Democrat . There is one solitary Party of Government divided into two wings, Republican and Democrat.
Levin is right and real patriots realize that the Tea Party is just us, Americans not elite politicians but us. Any part of the GOP that disagree with us must be kicked out of office and the party. It may not be too late but the time is getting real short.
Thanks!
The Dems have the ears of the public and the message. The message is that the poor little people need help, and the Republicans are haters who don’t want to help the poor little people. The message is effective.
Conservatives need to create a clear message and a way to get it out in a positive, attractive way. Can it be done without being painted as ugly? There is the challenge.
Having said that, the answers are not political and never will be.
Especially liked when he broke down the dire need for a Convention of States - not a Constitutional Convention - to take legislation back to the states, out of DC and to take our country back.
The progressive party. There are a handful of good conservatives stuck in the mudhole but its still a mudhole.

How long to load? Then, how long to buffer?
Article V ping!
Agreed, why enable the moderates any longer since they betray the country on every level, even if you take the social topics out they are still fiscal disasters on their own.
What ever happened to treating the finances like balancing a check book?
We all know if we did what politicians do with our money we’d be in a prison doing time with criminal records. How even more criminal is it for politicians to play monopoly in the name of the people?
It started playing right away when I tested streaming it. I don't see any way to download it.
We watched most of it and I like Mark Levin but I just disagree with him on some points. He is naive about what it is going to take to recapture the Constitutional Republic.
Thank God for the Tea Party!!!
Amen to that brother...
That's a bit of an overstatement.
Yes, there are waaaaay too many GOP members who are waaaaay too liberal. We need to work on that when we can, but understand there is a HUGE difference between ANY democrat and even the most liberal of the GOP.
As to the difference in democrat liberals vs Republican liberals, it's like the difference between Hubert Humphrey and Hugo Chavez (or Fidel Castro).
Not understanding we have a monolithic democrat party where ALL their elected officials are totalitarian leftists, and a divided, multifaceted Republican party with many factions: There is the so called liberal faction; the go along to get along reach across the aisle stupidity faction; there is the shell shocked, don't know how to gain traction faction who have kind of given up or simply on hold (some of these used to be conservatives); then there is the actual conservative wing.
Yes, it is a bit overlapping, and more complicated but how to put together a coalition of the present Republican party will be our biggest challenge, because if we can't do it, we will be perpetual losers and in the process lose everything we hold dear.
