The Texas Future Business Alliance, described as a "mix of 10 major business groups, including the chemical industry, bankers, builders and contractors," is reportedly "sending out mailers and providing other support on behalf of GOP candidates" who favor more government spending and want to take on the Tea Party.
. .
Michael Quinn Sullivan, who is the president of the fiscal-hawk group Empower Texans, "said the Texas Future Business Alliance" is an "anti-Ted Cruz movement [that] is nothing but a group of big-money interests wanting taxpayer dollars to flow into their pockets." Designating them a "fake group," he also said they "want people who will vote for cronyism and corporate welfare.
Though these business groups claim the Tea Party is swinging the legislature too far in their quest for fiscal conservatism, Sullivan said the notion that the Tea Party does not care about government is "ridiculous," arguing that they only want hard-earned taxpayer dollars spent prudently.
On the national level, groups like the Chamber of Commerce have indicated they are about to spend $50 million to try to destroy the Tea Party, largely because the Tea Party opposes amnesty for illegal immigrants and the corporations that have broken federal immigration laws to hire them. Karl Rove, who has his fingers in Texas politics, is reloading against the Tea Party on the national level as well. Furthermore, groups like former Rep. Steven LaTourette's (R-OH) Main Street Partnership are so hell-bent on destroying the Tea Party that the legality of their activities is being called into question.

The major (but not only) front organization for the truly reactionary GOP establishment is the REPUBLICAN MAIN STREET PARTNERSHIP, an organization dedicated to the principle of “go along to get along”. Instead of using direct action against Harry Reid, a person of somewhat questionable antecedents (including, but not limited to, his tenure as “Commissioner”), Harry Reid has been allowed by the Establishment types to ride roughshod over the rights of Senate Republicans as the minority party, and the only faction of the Republicans that has raised objection is the T.E.A. people. The rest of them are just sitting there like goats, and I don’t have to name them for anybody.
In 2008 and 2012, The Won was (and still is), the ENEMY, and only a handful of Senate Republicans seem willing to criticize his actions in any meaningful way. There are way more examples of critical thinking coming out of the Republican House delegation, and yet these are far too few.
Isn’t Stockman running agains’t Cornyn?
I doubt that Texas will turn blue by 2016 but new voters be it from immigration
or from relocation can definetly impact the future.
Thanks! Rogue’s Gallery of liars:
- $2 million donation last spring from Houston home builder Bob Perry
- $200,000 later in March from Fort Worth brothers Sid, Lee and Ed Bass.
- In June, it got $125,000 from beer magnate John Nau III, CEO of Houston-based Silver Eagle Distributors, the states largest distributor of Anheuser-Busch products.
Credit to Todd Gillman of Dallas News for AT LEAST writing this:
As for TCM, theres no pretense that this is a bunch of political Good Samaritans come to Cornyns aid.
The PACs president is Randy Cubriel, an Austin-based lawyer and lobbyist who served as Cornyns traveling aide on the 2002 campaign. He also worked for Cornyn at the state Attorney Generals office and later as a U.S. Senate aide.
You cant be too cautious, Cubriel said of the anti-Stockman effort. We support strong conservative and ethical leadership for Texas.
Cubriel is a liar, obviously. He supports the status quo of the Texas GOP elites:
CHEAP LABOR
His wife, Beth Cubriel, now executive director of the Texas GOP, has a long relationship with Cornyn, too.
Its a family thang
Isnt Stockman running against Cornyn?
Yes along with 6 others.

Need list of those who are members or supporting “Texas Business Group”.
And thankj YOU for your kind words! ;-)
Amen! ABC!
It starts off like an on the scene *news* report and tells how Battleground Texas is going to turn TX blue. Yuck! Not sure who's funding these, but I immediately click "skip this ad" as soon as possible.
It’s a long time between now and March 4th...
Do you know any of the folks running in the primary against Cornyn???
ive heard of all of them. ..yet their statewide recognition is weak at best...
so its an uphill battle anyway you look at it...
GOPe = RepubliCAN’T surrendership.
I’ve looked and don’t find a list. If you find one please post and link.
“if they only knew the powder keg they sit atop.” When shadow groups call for people to come to arms over the internet yes people are fed up and see the writing on the wall.
It is sad and dangerous to see a righteous system like the Constitutional Republic we once had circumvented. Now people openly hint at armed revolution which means they have already talked themselves into this course of action.
I doubt by 2016 also, but they are here now, right now spending money and have folks on the street organizing in San Antonio, Dallas and Houston laying the ground work. The Castro brothers in San Antonio are leading the cause.
And what are we doing? Our party is fighting with us, their very own base, doing their best to get us to not vote by pizzing us off. Yep, that’ll win won’t it?
I found this from Jim Keffer one of the State Representatives they are supporting:

great quotes
So...who thinks the Repub Party can be taken over by conservatives?
Man, I am there with you!
Thanks for these names now let’s bleed them. Mere percentage points are between them and going out of business. They ate all suffering like the rest of us and need the old status quo to survive.
You are sooo far off the mark. Folks grieve over the loss of liberty. No one...I mean no one I know wants revolution. It would be horrific. Ordinary citizens did not create what's going on in our society. The jerks in gubbamint have. People go about their lives day by day. Raising kids, working, playing but Uncle Sugar seems to go about day by day working creative ways to control people and separate them from their hard earned money.
What folks want? To be left alone to raise their children. Stop having big brother constantly spying on them. Stop passing laws on top of laws on top of laws that regulate every movement a person makes. Folks want peace, liberty, freedom, self determination, personal responsibility.
It's not the ordinary Joe-six-pack that wants war, it is the communist infiltrators in this country that will stop at nothing to dominate and control a free people.
Shadow groups? Very funny. How’z bout shadow government.
