The term polar vortex has been around for decades and is a legitimate weather phenomena. In fact Joe Bastardi is saying another break is possible in February with even colder weather.

Just keep calling it “global warming” - it is starting to tweak them.

I saw a CNN news babe say “We don’t call it Global Warming anymore- we call it Climate Change” because it was getting embarassing to talk about global warming in the midst of their conversation about the current cold-snap

I’d love to know the difference between a “polar vortex” and a cold front. I’m no weather expert, but I think it has something to do with the jet stream. Arctic air moves down and then across the USA. It’s called winter.

We need to start naming all polar vortices. I think this one should be Al. Maybe, Bill or Barack could be next. Chavez?

These major weather events, among other events, are among the reasons the progressives are truly making war on the older generations. We remember Winters that were just as bad and worse. Because we remember they want us to just “die and get out of the way”. We also remember when there was a lot less government and a lot more freedom.

I lived in the burbs of D.C. when we had back to back 15 inch snows within a week. After the second storm only about 6 inches of our chain-link fence was showing and there was a crust thick enough for us kids to walk around on. We were out of school for over a week and had a field-day playing in the snow.
