It was only his fourth day on the job and already hes breaking the law.
New York City Mayor Bill De Blasio was filmed shoveling his sidewalk this week.
The media loved it.
He was shoveling his walk and throwing the snow in the street.
He also was breaking the law.
It is illegal to throw your snow in the street in New York City.

I would have thought it is illegal to shovel your own snow without having union membership and a NYC permit to shovel snow.

Is that where he lives? Good Lord no wonder he needed a new job. I am shocked that he is living in that home. He seems the type to have a huge mansion. I guess he will now but what on Earth did he do before becoming Governor?

It is rumored that he passed gas without the required underwear filters while shoveling his snow illegally.

Well, you also wouldn’t want them to be “overly specific” on their gender, either...

"Why is it illegal to throw snow that the SNOWPLOWS block your driveway with, that came from the street, back out into the street?" Because the same people who run the snowplows also make local ordinances. Doesn't make it right, but it's illegal in lots of places, including Minnesota where I live, to put snow back from whence it came.

He had to do it himself. It would have been racist for him to have his son shovel the snow. In today's America, almost any action can be labeled as racist. Reminds me of one of Aesop's fables.
A man and his son are traveling, accompanied by their donkey.
When they both walk next to the donkey, people criticize them for not riding it. When the father rides, he is criticized for making his young son walk. When the son rides, he is criticized for making his old father walk. When they both ride, they are criticized for overburdening the donkey.
The father then decides that the only option left is to carry the donkey on his back.

Don’t laugh, but in Park Slope, that house is probably worth around $1.5 million, maybe more.

In his defense, he usually has a illegal alien shoveling his snow! I believe that would a "undocumented member of the proletariat" comrade.

This falls under the big people/little people rule. Laws are for little people, not for Comrade Mayor.
