That 45 degrees looks good on the banner, but it’s not going to last.

Our local news said that the local shelter is offering to take in outside pets that the owner has no room for in the house - for tonight and tomorrow.

It is cold this morning. Right now we’re at 16 degrees. Not forecast to be above freezing until tomorrow.

We are still below freezing here in central Texas and the temps will be diving the next hour or so.

I think there is just a very thin sliver (in which we reside) of the US that isn’t at or below freezing today.

It’s already dropped below freezing here again. The Texas electrical system operator (ERCOT) is asking people to conserve usage the next few days. We only keep the living / dining area and kitchen at decent warmth anyway.

It is VERY thin and your part of the country might just reside within it, Jinxy.

It did warm up to 32 here this afternoon. Unlike some of our Northern FRiends who remained well below zero!

I would get tired of that in a hurry! It’s as bad as 100+ days we have in summer. LOL!
