On CNN’s State of the Union Sunday, host Candy Crowley asked a question of Gov. Scott Walker (R-Wisc.) that should offend people on both sides of the aisle.

“If I am an unemployed American…or if I am a minimum wage worker…why would I become a Republican?” (video at source with transcript and commentary):

Better question for her to ask herself would be:

Because Democrat liberals like you are stupid. You and your Party got us to this miserable situation. Wake-up and get your brain out of stupid, if that’s possible.

Because the Republicans want to turn you into a middle class worker with a good job and benefits. They don’t want to keep you at subsistence level with welfare payments.

The truth is the poor should never vote for anyone who claims to represent them. Politicians who “Stand for the little guy” have a vested interest in making sure that there are lots of little guys to stand for

Because you don't want to stay that way.

>>“If I am an unemployed American…or if I am a minimum wage worker…why would I become a Republican?”

When you view the government (and by extension, the taxpayers) as a limitless piggy bank to be exploited for your own personal gain, there is no reason to be a Republican.

Republicans (the non-elite ones, at least) stand for the values that made America great. The person who is unemployed or working for minimum wage and believes that things will never get better is not a real American. They live here and have citizenship, but they are not made of the same stuff as the people who arrived here on sailing ships, tamed the frontier, won WW2, and went to the Moon.

Of course they would be Democrats since that is the party for people who have failed as human beings. It is the party of the herd.

Hey Ditz! Maybe it’s because it’s your boy and his DemocRATS who caused him/her to become unemployed? Come on Candy, you can’t go through your entire life being braindead. Try using that stuff between your ears at least once!

I’ve said it before, but I’ll say it again: I am mystified how Crowley has lasted as long as she has in the business, much less become CNN’s “top analyst.” The woman is quite literally, the least insightful political commentator I have seen in a long, long time. She pretty much spouts stuff everyone else already has figured out, and never does more than skim the surface of the harder issues. She’s more Meghan McCain than Bill Buckley.

hecht:" It’s amazing that this heel clicking apparatchik was chosen to moderate a presidential debate."

What's amazing is that the GOPe agreed with her to be a 'moderator ' for a Presidential debate.
I believe that her selection was made by the 'League of Women Voters' who aren't known for non-partisian participation.
The term :"Criminl Facilitation" immediately comes to mind .
