A Georgia couple was shocked and disgusted to find a racial slur scrawled on a valet ticket after a night out at a local restaurant.
After Candea and Sam Aarons had dinner at the Spondivits restaurant in East Point, Ga., on New Year’s Day, they found that the valet tag still affixed to their key chain had the phrase “jungle fever” written on one side.
The phrase is a racial slur for an interracial couple.

It’s a biker dive, or at least it was when I lived there.
That was my first thought as well. I remember sitting at the bar there once sharing a bucket of crab legs with a friend when all of a sudden I see a guy walking out with a Mossberg shotgun in his hands. Three minutes later, three East Point policemen rush in. I didn't know the details, but I knew where I was and what to expect, so I went back to eating my crab legs.
If I was a criminal in the ATL, the last police dept I would want to face is East Point.

the media should really stop showcasing these stories. They could be encouraging scams. Who cares if someone calls you a name. rip up the ticket and move on.

That place looks like a scuzzy dump. As if they have to have valet service to park junkers in the back alley. Ok, maybe it's so those junkers aren't vandalized by amish punks.
Was it a complement or a put down? Who knows? Mixed-race couples are confronted with pro/con reactions all the time. Typical liberal reaction is to focus on race. The issue is about the attendant’s unsolicited comment to the customer.
My advise would be to give the attendant his job back, tell him his job is to park cars not to write comments on customer tickets, let him apologize if he wants, and give the couple a free dinner. Then, if this happens again, fire him. If that’s too drastic, get him a rubber stamp with a smiley face./s
