It would probably be difficult, outside San Francisco, to find a more doggedly liberal place in America than the Washington suburb of Bethesda.
People there are affluent, and more educated than in any other U.S. city of comparable size: the vast majority have university diplomas, and half of them hold master's degrees or Ph.Ds.
The place is an absolute hive of Toyota Priuses and artisanal shops. And the very name Bethesda has, for many U.S. conservatives, come to stand for all they hold in contempt: elitist, climate-change-believing, gun-restricting, abortion-allowing, anti-hunting (the place crawls with white-tailed deer), pro-big-government Obama-lovers.
Yet, at the moment, Barack Obama is clearly losing Bethesda. Just as he is losing the rest of America as his fifth year in office draws to a close....

The only thing going for obama was that all there was to judge him by was his words. And the left loved his words. Eventually, the events and their impact on people speak louder than the words. Once people start to question a liar, he’s done.
He’s a “dead president” walking at this point. It will only get worse. And as with the french revolution, his greatest detractors and most dangerous opponents will be his former followers.
The rest of us will sit back and enjoy the popcorn.
Isn’t it interesting, that despite their failure to enroll enough people in Obamacare to make it even half way financially viable, they still push it... knowing full well that it is destined to collapse under it’s own weight.
Maybe they know it will not survive in the courts, and would rather see it go down that way rather than admit they were wrong in the first place.
Maybe they never intended for it to succeed in the way it was advertised, but rather wreak further havoc on the already desperate economy.
It’s simply mind-boggling that regardless of why, the democrats refuse to even apply the brakes... Do they know something we do not?

Obamacare is still the law. RATS expect the RINOs to bail them out with ever greater spending. THE GOAL IS SOCIALIZED MEDICINE. Other than the Tea Party, I see no political resistance whatsoever.
Because Obamacare is the law, he is winning. Everything else is noise. Obama is arguably the most successful president in American history in IMPLEMENTING HIS AGENDA. Reagan had to compromise. Clinton had to compromise. Obama refuses to compromise!
He is succeeding beyond his wildest dreams in destroying our culture, our economy, our political system, and our health care. The man hates America and he is collapsing it faster than anyone apparently realizes.
The US House of Representatives is analogous to a Police Force - - - they “arrest” the perp by Impeaching the perp.
The US Senate is analogous to a Jury of Peers who have the power to throw the Impeached perp off of the taxpayer gravy train, take away his residence, ban him from building a Library paid for by us, and ban him from using his personal Corporate Jet, Air Force One.
Most RINO Americans want to wait, Wait, WAIT! until they control the House, the Senate and the White House.
