This should serve as a reminder to you all that if youre over 50, you need to have a colonoscopy. Tunnel boring machines remind you of a colonoscopy? Ouch!

Check out what theyve been digging underground... Oh yeah. I've seen videos of that facility before. It's not secret. There are no guards. It's just an old salt mine that's been turned into the world's largest warehouse.
Leave it to Jesse Ventura to set up the video to make like he's some kind of spy, getting into a secret government complex. What a hoot.

Seattle dose have an underground part of the city. Yeah, but that only goes about twenty feet underground. The tunnel is already eighty feet below grade level.

Trivia alert. Seattle is the source of the original term, “Skid Row”. It was the path where the logs were skidded from the outlying areas to the mills on the water. It turned into a great place for the girls and saloons to ply their wares.

That's right. Our drill seems to have hit something metallic.
It sounds like it might be hollow inside, but our drills won't even scratch the surface.
What should we do?

In the longer article it says they are doing that - today I think. The wells are to bring down the groundwater and pressure so they can see. The machine can only back up 2-3 feet though.

it can only back up 2 or 3 feet?
I think that is a design flaw, considering its pretty much stuck there for now.
