The team started out the season like a Schottenheimer coached Chiefs team and ended as a Vermeil coached Chiefs team. Something in between would have been nice.

LOL, no kidding, and we experienced both in one season, LOL.

Seriously, I wonder if DC, Sutton, will be gone after the second half of the season’s defense collapse. To be fair though, the second half brought the toughest part of the schedule and injuries. Despite that, we seemed to get burned by the same old plays over and over again, including the playoff game. I know there are other factors in play, but the defense went from being great to very poor in one season.

One bright spot was how the offense really picked it up by season’s end and carried us. I guess we’ll see if Sutton is there next year or not.

Right especially when we have 5 pro-bowlers on defense and that doesn't include Derrick Johnson who is right up there. No way they should have been burned like they were 6 of their last 7 games. Funny how the poles reversed after the bye week.
