Aubrey Loots and Danny Leclair joke that they're getting married New Year's Day in front of 80 million of their closest friends, and the men say they aren't that concerned that a few thousand others may boycott the first gay marriage at the 125-year-old Rose Parade.
The Pasadena Tournament of Roses, which puts on the parade, said in a statement that it is proud to have the AIDS Healthcare Foundation's float, adding it clearly represents this year's parade theme, "Dreams Come True."
"Like all of our sponsors and float designers, AHF continues to help make the Rose Parade a premier event through original and creative expressions that connect to parade themes," the statement said.

In Alabama they come out once a year. The rest of the year they hide. In CA and my home state of NY, they are in your face 24. 7. 365.I suppose that's at least somewhat true. In any case, they are more and more creeping into every part of the country.

I have no problem with them as long as they shut up and do it in private.

Holiday parades used to be a gay event, then the word “gay” got hijacked by queers.

Perhaps not many are aware of this happening right in front of their kids on TV on Jan 1st.

But they’re not content with just that. They want to shove it in our faces.

I’m just gonna skip the whole darn thing. Ya never know when they might cut to the gay float.

Alabama, eh?
I noticed they were wearing crimson and white instead of orange and blue.

Locally owned credit union is your best bet.
The ATM network is a little small. That is all that bugs me about mine.

The Duck Call may well become the conservative bugle of protest at any gathering.
The TEA Party should adopt it & encourage its being sounded publically whenever appropriate.
Much more effective than booing, IMO. Imagine a demo of faggies prancing down the street when suddenly duck calls ring out from all around. Could be classified a hate crime.

“You know, Ive always felt that what goes on behind closed doors is none of my business but it SHOULD STAY behind closed doors.”
It never does, and besides, that whole “behind closed doors” thing was just a ploy, just one more step in the march to mandatory enthusiastic endorsement.

Excellent point about the irony of sodomites celebrating their “wedding” on an AIDS float. That would be like a couple drunkards hitting ‘em back on a MADD (Mother’s Against Drunk Driving) float, eh?
