A month’s supply? Does that mean it will fill only enough medication for the month, or does that mean it will fill any prescription, even one for a year’s supply of medicine for example, during the month? I also wonder if they plan on being reimbursed, or maybe this is simply a marketing scheme to draw in more customers. Walgreens shareholder interests, not politics, should be the company’s first priority.

Because of Obama Care I cannot use Walgreens anymore, they have forced my to use a mail order pharmacy....

If it was like my previous mail order pharmacy experiences.... I have an interesting year ahead of me....

Where’s that Obamacare free candy van? Should be labeled “Free Drugs” with a Walgreens logo added.

Walgreens gets what for dispensing free Obamacare candy? Creepy.

I guess I should have read the article. I usually do, but posted this time without doing proper preparation. This sounds like a pretty good marketing ploy to me.

Walgreens went whole hog for PPACA and wants to deflect as much of the fallout of that harebrained plan as it can. IMHO.

Some of this drug stuff is crazy.

We don’t have insurance now (hubby is trying to find out about Obamacare, but hasn’t managed to crack the code yet, I’m telling him to wait until after Jan 1.)

He takes a bunch of prescription drugs and one is quite expensive. He poked around the internet and found some coupon which actually got him a lower out-of-pocket than he had with the former insurance plan. He saved hundreds of dollars.

So, it seems to be a big mish-mosh, and that’s before the O-care kicks in.

That’s a pretty safe offer to make. If you don’t have insurance you won’t see a doctor and you won’t get a Rx so you won’t be going to Walgreens to get free drugs.

No, If you have a prescription that is still in effect from another doctor, it can be transferred to Walgreen in about 15 minutes..

The article is about 0bamaCare enrollees. How many of them have seen a doctor yet since they had no insurance before?

Great timing. I just bailed on Walgreens. It seemed every single prescription I tried to get filled was held-up for one reason or another.

Combined with piss poor service and long wait times due to low staffing levels, I finally decided just a week ago that enough was enough and got my latest prescription filled at Publix.

And I had been going to this Walgreens for over 20 years.
