How are dogs and othe small pets, killed by police doing?
That’s because this newest breed of cops shoot first and ask questions later.
In a year that saw an UNBELIEVABLE run on firearms and ammunition. Firearm ownership up, police deaths down. Go figure.
Kind of adjacent to this is the website Police Suicide Myths.

what real objective journalists would do would discuss how while firearms deaths in 2013 are’as low as they were in 2013, consider that in light of how many guns criminals, law-abiding citizens, leos, govt agencies, and the military all have. consider further the much larger population in the us today.
the proper conclusion is in geneal, people are safer, are the opposite of generally reckless, or trying to stir up trouble with their guns. they are responsible and they use them for defensive purposes, and may even try to do what they can to avoid having to use them.
How many got shot but survived because they were wearing body armor?
THAT DOES IT!
We need car control!
We need car registration!
We need licensing and training before using a car!
What am I missing?
In the same time how many innocent subjects (I not sure if we’re citizens anymore) have died as a result of LEO gunfire? And how many died while the LEOs dilly dallied around before attempting to intervene in a situation?
Sounds like a lot of lives could be saved by taking the cars away from the cops.
Are there any corresponding data published on the total number of people killed by police in the line of duty each year. It would be interesting to contrast the two data sets.
Good news, although one suspects the year saw a record number of pet dog deaths at the hands of America’s law enforcement professionals - to use the term loosely.
