Does anyone else have a liberal in their lives that is in denial over the light bulb ban?
I have one and find it absolutely dumbfounding.

I have a liberal minded wife I constantly have to educate about the true intentions of greedy, power hungry men known as politicians. She doesn’t like it when I do it but I can tell she gets it after I spell it out. Liberals have a form of tunnel vision and tend to believe that politicians mean what they say and don’t seem to understand that they know how to game and manipulate the “system”. I find them a little gullible and naieve really.
I actually know a liberal who thinks the light bulb ban was totally stupid. I haven't seen him recently. I have a feeling that he got whacked by Obamacare as he had an individual policy that may well have gotten nuked. I keep hoping he will see the light (no pun intended).
For the relative: purchase a lamp, and while installing the flourobulb, accidentally drop it on the floor. The as cleanup progresses, point out the recommended process, beginning with throwing the clothing away. You throw yours away and make sure the relative does the same.
